imschur Posted May 8, 2010 Report Posted May 8, 2010 Im getting ready to hop on my bike after a 2 year layoff
Matt.Cross Posted May 8, 2010 Report Posted May 8, 2010 I like to pedal, but there's not much good riding around me. Got a few parks and such, not much else.
imschur Posted May 8, 2010 Author Report Posted May 8, 2010 We have a park near by thats awesome for every skill level. The toughest part is getting there. I have to go through real bad projects. A few years ago the inhabitants stoned me with baseball size rocks. I now drive to the park in my truck.
Matt.Cross Posted May 8, 2010 Report Posted May 8, 2010 Yikes! Be careful man, I guess you could load a mag up with blanks and scare 'em silly.
imschur Posted May 8, 2010 Author Report Posted May 8, 2010 Yikes! Be careful man, I guess you could load a mag up with blanks and scare 'em silly.I would be out gunned for sure. When I called the police they told me it happens all the time and could I describe them. :o
Madhouse Posted May 9, 2010 Report Posted May 9, 2010 I've done a lot of biking in the past. But my Gary Fisher has been hanging in my garage collecting dust for a good five years now. I've got the Joshua 0 full-suspension ike.
imschur Posted May 9, 2010 Author Report Posted May 9, 2010 I have a GF Sugar 3 Disc. Sold most of the stock equipment and went all XTR except the wheels. That bike was like an AR-15 with all the upgrades and money spent after the initial purchase. $1800 bike was like $4k all said and done. <laughs>
Madhouse Posted May 12, 2010 Report Posted May 12, 2010 So, let's see here, bikes, guns, and cameras (at least) are not safe from the upgrade sickness!! <lmao>
98Z5V Posted May 19, 2010 Report Posted May 19, 2010 So, let's see here, bikes, guns, and cameras (at least) are not safe from the upgrade sickness!! <lmao>I've pretty much come to the conclusion that NOTHING is safe from the upgrade sickness/affliction... :o <laughs>
buc378 Posted August 20, 2010 Report Posted August 20, 2010 I've pretty much come to the conclusion that NOTHING is safe from the upgrade sickness/affliction... :o <laughs>i will second that.i use to ride alot .clears the old noggin.dont ride any more, but i do miss it.

shepp Posted August 1, 2014 Report Posted August 1, 2014 Anyone been riding? Got about 36mi in the last month or so. Took my first good spill over a log pile last night over the handle bars on my knees and fore arms in the dirt with a great oooooohhhhhhhhshhhhhhiiiiiiiiiiii thud
blue109 Posted August 2, 2014 Report Posted August 2, 2014 been slacking. all the fun trails require a shuttle and I'm anti social. the trails I can get to and ride by myself just don't do it for me.
imschur Posted August 2, 2014 Author Report Posted August 2, 2014 Ive been non stop. I get about 12 miles a night. I think I took three days off in July
blue109 Posted August 2, 2014 Report Posted August 2, 2014 one of my favorite "trails" lol. Green Mountain Trail. you spend most of the ride wondering what the hell you were thinking. it's brutal.
shepp Posted August 2, 2014 Report Posted August 2, 2014 Ive been non stop. I get about 12 miles a night. I think I took three days off in July Wow that's great!! We did the 12 mi loop last Saturday at the southern kettle moraine trail park that's was by far the best trails I've been on ( not that I've been on a lot) hoping to hit a place called cam rock up by Madison next week
shibiwan Posted August 2, 2014 Report Posted August 2, 2014 Too hot and too busy lately. Waiting for weather to cool off (usually mid August) to start riding again in the early mornings then take my girls to HS then to work....
