imschur Posted February 8, 2013 Author Report Share Posted February 8, 2013 They are talking gusts up to 85 mph. That is stronger than Sandy and the wind storm we had a few weeks ago. Both were pretty devastating.If we lose power I have standing pilot hot water and stove. I also have a blue flame heater on a flexible hose in the basement. Im not opposed to drilling a hole in the hardwood floor to re-locate the gas line. Im in the 12"-24" zone.
