Meaning the current rail on the PRI tube is about 1/16" (or was it 1/8") higher than the rail on the receiver. The Delta tube has better clearance for gas blocks, I'm not sure if this translates into a higher rail... I'll be calling PRI. I will also be asking if I can simply swap tubes, therefore the new nut and locking ring PRI will ship with the longer tube will be available nib with the shorter tube I intend to sell.
blue109 Posted June 9, 2013 Report Posted June 9, 2013 That delta doesn't match the receiver height of either generation. Its a bit higher. They have the SPR sleeve for the older "high" receiver to make it even...but not the "low". I spoke to Tony at PRI about modding my tube a little to use the top rail but it would leave 2" at the end and wouldn't really serve any purpose other than adding weight so I took a pass. I do want to put a delta on something though.
