Magwa
my AR's are all home built and I have no issues with function on any of them but one common trait is buffer spring twang and noise when i shoot now is there a upgrade, a fix, something that helps? and is still 100% form and function? thanks

blue109
That is the beautiful and distinctive sound of the m16/ar15 family of rifles. I personally love it and wouldn't loose it for anything. I would like to record that soothing sound and loop it over and over and fall asleep to it every night. Shame on you magwa! DNP
The one I just built for my dad...no twang. Just bcm parts, nothing real special in the tube/spring dept. My cheapo...like an inexpensive Mexican guitar. Edited August 14, 2013 by DNP
unforgiven
I don't notice it in my rifles. <dontknow>
Magwa
Damn JP 's solution is expensive does it work as good as stock spring and buffer? Now it seems Magwas heart is twisted and has gone to the darkside..... woe is me......I will take the flak, but I will not sit in a corner and I will not wear a dunce hat.. so don't ask! Magwa
the worst offender is my A2 rifle 20 inch 5.56 the twang in that sucker is alarming but man it is a accurate biatch.......
bubbasks
Damn JP 's solution is expensive does it work as good as stock spring and buffer? Yep! Much smoother operation, less bolt bounce and no twang! I justified it bc i was looking at polished springs and nice buffers even enidines and but that little extra is worth it. Theres a reason why so many 3-gunners use the system.
Robocop1051
I'm seriously debated on one for my next build. I'm just trying to decide carbine or rifle stock first. Edit: I just read that it comes with a spacer to fit either length. I think I'm sold. Edited August 14, 2013 by Robocop1051
