A brother in arms

unforgiven

Recommended Posts

One of our brothers in good standing here has a difficult situation on his hands. Here we have a loving father with a very ill daughter, her name is Kelly. The link is here: http://www.gofundme.com/6nofxw Is just to give the membership a look at the circustances involved.First I would ask you for you'r prayers, then since this is out of network brother Larry's insurance won't pickup the cost's, whatever help that could be had to help defray cost's would be greatly appreciated..So that Kelly can get funds without having to incur fees please send checks to: Chase Bank / 3500 Hwy 190 / Mandeville,LA. 70471 c/o Kelly O'Mahoney acc. # XXXXXXXXXX. Good karma begets good karma. United we stand. Thank you.

EDIT: The account number has been edited at mineral man's request. The information given can still be used to donate, only the account # is edited.

Some of the members have expressed a desire to use PayPal,unfortunately brother Larry is not setup for that.If you could find it in you'r heart to cut a check for Kelly O'Mahoney and send it to the Chase account at the address above it would eliminate any fee's the family would incur.ANY amount is a good amount.Let's show brother Larry some support.God forbid something like this would happen to another member here,I would/we would and should rally some help for them also.THANK YOU.Rene

Our friend Kathy who set up the website for the fundraiser has said she resonds to everyone who sends a check to the Chase account. I'd like to get a pm from you guys if you hear from her. No distrust of her involved, just QCing the process.

Again, I'm overwhelmed by the good will. God bless you all.

Larry

I wanted to give you an update. Kelly has been on the new chemo for two months. After a shakey start (wrong dosages, it happens.) she had an MRI to recheck, and the Dr. said the tumor has actually shrunk! I think even he was surprised. We're not out of the woods yet, but at least she's headed in the right direction.

Thank you all for your prayers and support! I won't forget it.

I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your prayers and help, but on Aug. 29, my little girl passed away. She had just turned 21 in July. We thought we were getting up on the brain tumor, but it came on with a vengence in late June and there was nothing we could do about it. The outpouring of love and prayers for Kelly was fantastic and the support she and we received from her friends, teammates and family was immeasurable. Without saying a word, she touched the lives of thousands. God Bless You Kelly.

Words fail me brother, I can't even imagine what you and your wife must be going through right now. Is there anything at all that we can do for you? Please don't hesitate to let me know if so.

I guess heaven is that much more beautiful now...

My deepest and most heartfelt condolences. I honestly hurt for you brother, and I'll continue to pray for you and your family. The loss of a loved one can never be matched, and is surely the hardest trial of faith a family can endure. Your strength and love as a family is what kept you in this fight, and it is what will get you out of it. We, as brothers, may be stretched across thousands of miles of God's green earth... but we're here for you in any capacity we can be. As you grieve know that we are remembering you and honoring the memory of Kelly. Her struggle will not be forgotten. God does bless her, and I'm sure accepted her warmly into his waiting arms.

Wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts.

Rob
