This whole ISIS/free syrian army thing is the largest pile of bullpoopy we've been force fed in a long time. Cut all funding and then start dropping our politicians out of the planes over there instead of expensive bombs and we'll see some real success. Believe it or not, the B-1 has been used to drop something like three times the ordinance of other aircraft in Iraq and Afghanistan. All of them...combined together. Media is stuck on B-52s and the B-1 has been the workhorse the past couple of decades.

planeflyer21 Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 Yup. Those rotary bomb bays on the B-1 kick some ass! Off the top of my head, somewhere in the neighborhood of 80,000lbs just in the internal bomb bays...about 30K pounds more than the internal load on BUFFs.
