The stock seems to be well made. It is light (no scale to get exact weight). The machining appears well done with no visible defects or irregularities. Here are a few closer pictures of it.
It attaches by the screw in the back as well as a clamp style set mechanism around the extension.
Looking at Savage website, it appears that the buttstock is this one.

Pictures of the rifle, especially of the buttstock would be great. A parts list if possible also...
Did you buy it complete? Was it new? Has the buttstock been changed since you bought it?

Do your homework before buying to make sure it will all work together. There are no standards for the different manufacturers to follow.

I think it will work well. I actually had it in hand when I started the thread. I learned that from here.

Has anyone used one of these? I am building the wife a lightweight Ar15 and wanted something less expensive than the Sabertube. I think @Robocop1051 had one at the fall shoot. That's what started the project.
