  1. I have used them , way back when . I can't remember if they do any good .
  2. Sounds like you have the front sight mounted on a railed gas block , is this the way it is set up ? If so , it would be the first place to check for something out of alignment .
  3. Why are the ones labeled as " Bad " ?
  4. Well its because they used a small clause in the law & you can thank the polarity of the AR pistol for it . You can thank Olympic Arms for starting this , they were warned making a pistol of the AR ,that something like this would happen & that was a long time ago ( IMO has no strategic value at all, except a FUN gun ). What I can't understand is ,if it can be used in a pistol , why not ban it from pistols made in that caliber , why the over reaching & banning it all , since there's no law against AP ammo in a rifle ? <dontknow> They have over stepped their authority , once again !
  5. I used to think it was that easy , but not so much any more , with all the different offerings now a days or what was made in the past . The reason I asked for caliber is we sometimes get requested info for the wrong platform , I'm just being careful . The Thread that has the measurements from the rail to the bottom of the Upper receiver are interesting & can be used also . 2.060" for the pre-2009 DPMS high rail height & 2.000" for the post -2009 low rail height . With the AR10 being a little lower ( 0.020 " I think ) than the High rail height of a DPMS . Confusing to some . <dontknow>

  7. Sorting brass & I don't think I need to post photo's of something so dear to me on Valentines Day . <laughs>
  8. BB guns may be toys , but they still get the fundamentals of shooting , just not as lethal . & they also see a projectiles destructive tendencies .
  9. If it was an AR 15/16 , I would wonder , but the 308AR , there are no MilSpec anything , so deviations from one manufacturer to another , may need you to become a part time Gunsmith , to fit parts or alter them .
  10. Good job on the info . Photo's anyone ?
  11. Are you looking for a complete upper ?
  12. From their web sight , here is what they don't fit . He told me last week he has designed a CH for the DPMS GII , call if you need one . Here is a list of the weapons which we have found our handle to not fit correctly: Smith & Wesson - M&P 10 Rock River Arms – .308 cal Stag Arms Co. – Model-8 SR-25 – Some older 1st Generation rifles only ! DPMS - Gen-2 - .308 SIG – 716 – .308 cal
  13. Ya , me too . Wonder how much cost per round & platform to shoot it ?
  14. Damn pusher's !
  15. Well I have three BCG's from three different companies , one being a DPMS BCG & none of them have those longitudinal groves cut into the Bolt Carrier as the one in their photo, but hay, anything is possible <dontknow> Might be how they distinguish their's from others . Good prices & I like how can mix the finishes up .
  16. It looks like their rail height is wrong for your platform or the rail height is machined incorrectly . That adaptor nuts channel for the gas tube is odd , not sure how its made , but I don't think there would be much off center as they say . If there was as much as they suspect ( to cut or make room in their adaptor ,for out of Spec Gas tube opening in the Upper Receiver ), we would see problems with Gas Tubes binding or hitting the Carrier Key . There's not much room for error there . Maybe they cut that channel in adaptor nut that way to remove some weight . <dontknow>
  17. That Bear was tame or we would have seen a much different outcome .
  18. I want one because I can , I will be the first on the block to have one & they will all bow to me . So There ! <lmao> <munch>
  19. Gas blocks are all the same as far as gas tube position , other wise you couldn't use them for both the 308AR & the AR 15 platforms .There should be no flexing of the tube for fitment, if there is , somethings not right . That's another way of measuring for the two different heights of Upper Receiver rails for a DPMS. Odin asked to measure it in a different way , as above measurements. Wouldn't or shouldn't they already know that , for the different platforms they are making Handguards for ?
  20. <thumbsup>
  21. A 16" barrel will shoot the 308 to 500 yards with out a problem & would be a big weight difference , in a hunting rifle . <dontknow>
  22. Interesting . Nice to have a side hack to carrie gear .
  23. So , I'm guessing none of them hooked up with her . <lmao>
