I just think they are having a hard time getting it all together , they seem to have a lot going on , but that shouldn't effect putting out basic info for a product they are selling . Probably just over looked . I also believe its a 0.750" gas block diameter , but I don't take anything for granted any more , just too many new manufacturing companies making 308AR parts out there & I have no idea who made this barrel . We will see , when it gets here .

Now that I know the gas system length , I can guess the gas block diameter also or just wait till the Barrel gets here. <dontknow>

I have come to believe in the use the same manufacturers upper & lower receiver sets, gives you a good chance of them working together with out Tolerance Stacking issues . Although its not written in stone, that it will function with other components used in your build . There are so many manufacturers jumping into the 308AR game , we are seeing issues with some manufacturers components also.

Their 16" & 20 " HB's have out performed my expectations.

We will see how this barrel shoots compared to my Fulton Armory bbl's.. I already have an upper & BCG so , I need a hand guard & I think it will go rifle stock of some sort , maybe the Magpul .

Last time we talked about their barrels , Easy hadn't seen one yet . Sale is probably over any way , no problem , I will probably use my favorite barrels from FA , in this case a 18.5" mid wt. . I was just looking for a friend & he was on the cheap . Not something I believe you should be on the cheap for , IMO.

The Remington will have more goodie's in the after market world , but Savage has come a long way & make very good shooters now a days & after market parts are based on demand , if the rifle shoots very good from the factory , not much needed to upgrade them . The Bolt action rifle market is not based on Tactical shooting ,its mostly for hunting rifles . I like my 308 Mossberg , I just have not had the time to break her in . Too much time on the 308AR's this past year . I did put a 6x18x 40 Buckmaster on it the other day & will play with her this year some time . As already said , you should test fire some different rifles before you make a choice . I just buy them & test them , but that doesn't work for everyone. <thumbsup>

Kind of makes me wonder if they would hold up to the recoil of the 308 cartridge . Low weight is not always a good thing .

Good question . With all the manufacturers making these things , its getting hard to tell which one will work with which one . <dontknow>

When you alter your pin holes ,you might alter the Upper Receivers line bore with the Lower Receivers , Extension . As far as the gap , I would dry fit a complete rife & see how it functions & note any wear marks from the function tests , If all OK , Build it & test it . I would assume & that's a big assumption , that all these 80 % Lowers are made to MilSpec's. <dontknow>
