  1. You could be picky & use 0.5 as a variance , but i would put 2,3,4& 5 together & keep # 1 separate . You can also play with # 1 to match close to the same results as the others , being the Velocity will be a tad lower . Might not even make a difference , only testing will tell .
  2. What ever works in the chamber & barrel & long range may need a bit of push . No colored bullets at your range , are you sure they are not talking about painted black tip or Orange , meaning Armor piercing or Tracer ammo . Any commercial bullets , even plastic tipped bullets should be fine .
  3. I agree , unless you use five or ten rounders, the 20-25 round will be a monopod any lower . I know the PMag 25 rounder is pretty long .
  4. I agree , just get the next higher set of rings . Yours may be low or med. , there is high & extra high also, I have to use extra high with all my AR's no matter what stock I'm running. Most scope rings are measured from the ring saddle to the flat that seats on the scope mount base , but some measure to the scopes center in the ring to the base flat . Try to measure yours to see where its at & just get the next size up , if that lets you keep a clear cheek weld .
  5. Air dry on a towel , move them around once in a while . I'm never in a hurry to reload a tumbled batch & 24 hr's they should be dry , unless you have very high Humidity. Just remember the weight of the water in there also , so you will have to experiment on what ratios to put in there. I use two pounds of SS media in my rock tumbler & fill it 2/3's of the way with water /with brass & Media in it . My rock tumbler is at least twenty five years old .
  6. If you are making target ammo , I would recommend weighing them & putting them in some kind of weight groups , but if just shooting fodder , I would not worry about it .
  7. If its made by DPMS it will have a " D " on the Bolt Carrier some where , at least I think its a " D " , both of my DPMS BCG do & one is from Fulton Armory . That looks NIB coated , mine are older Chrome BC & Parkerized or Phosphate bolts . I'm still at Hunt camp & can't check my safe from 950 miles away or I would post a photo.
  8. There are just a couple of holes in that theory . One you read it on the internet , two , have you done any chronograph testing , three , an SBR is not meant to be a long or med. range rifle , the SR 25 IS a Med. to Long range rifle . Comparing the 308 , 150 gr. to the AK 123 gr. bullets , the 150 will win , hands down in ballistics .
  9. I use a 45ACP case full of Lemi shine & tumble for three hours & don't forget the two squirts of liquid dish soap & warm water .
  10. Why would a company sell a 80% lower with out the availability of a Jig for it ?
  11. GM , Government Motors , enough said ! <lmao>
  12. No ,I have not tried them in any mag pouch yet . I'll bet they don't fit in any of them though , good question , maybe Magpul might have an Idea .
  13. Yes , but unless you are going to use a lead sled for all shooting , you lose the human factor , which is one of the most important factors in shooting any Firearm. Not saying there is no use for a lead sled , but the differences in recoil & trigger control & there effects on shot placement , all change when fired with out a lead sled . Regardless of the firearms potential problems or the effects from it .
  14. Re-Barrel or have the chamber reamed , if indeed too short of chamber . How did it head space ?
  15. I sense Wilson Combat hate here , he makes a very good product , I have some of their barrels & would match them to anyones . Did you say the same about Larue 308's when they came out , oh ya they are the best , sorry I keep forgetting about how pricey they are & yes I know they have proven them selfs since . <dontknow> Don't knock it till you try it . I'm at hunt camp & had to start something while I'm here. <laughs>
  16. No high capacity mags to Commiefornia ,your clearance has been revoked <lmao>
  17. I'll see how it works in the woods , I like it , the closest thing I had to this was one I got about 20-25 years ago for Bow Hunting . You dialed the range in using two lines until the target got clear & you would then read the dial , that you had calibrated using a measured distance . They have come a long way , since then.
  18. A spring pin used as a Hammer Strut pin ? Strange .
  19. Just testing this thing in the back yard into the woods , works pretty good . I think I can post a photo before I leave .
  20. I load the Barnes 110's & Hornadys 110's for hunting in my 300BLK . That is impressive. Nice work .
  21. I'd buy some & give a review , but couldn't test them till late November , so some one else needs to step up . <thumbsup>
  22. There's a Video ? I couldn't get it to run . Now I know I missed something & its probably a joke .
  23. Email Lee & they will tell you what's wrong & probably replace it for nothing.
