  1. That's kinda scary or are you joking ?
  2. Nice shot ! That was close . I put illuminated nock's on my CrossBow this year. Can't wait to try them out at a deer or Turkey.
  3. :cookoo:
  4. GO BROWNS !
  5. Ordered a Nikon, Aculon Range finder yesterday for hunting . Some have got up top 650 yards out of them ranging & I just wanted something less expensive for bow hunting , but didn't want just a Bow hunters ranging . I'll let you all know how it works out when I get back .
  6. That white truck built by government motors , was treated fairly . <laughs>
  7. You could be subject to a fee for shooting a Buck not with in your specified Rack size . I would opt for a guide & the guide will tell you if it meets criteria they specify , might even save you money & the guide may take you to more opportunistic hunting area's .
  8. Now all you have to get reloading components ,( bullets ,powder , primers ), that will be much more of a task & expense . it never ends ! <thumbsup>
  9. 308/7.62x51 , should work in any of the newer 308 or 7.62x51 rifle barrels . You also need to know there are at least two major configurations of 308AR's , Armalite ( AR 10 ) is sloped at the back of the receivers where the two meet & DPMS style is rounded , just like a bigger AR 15 . Keep with one or the others as far as parts & the build should go smoothly .
  10. What , it doesn't ratchet , its an all day wrench set. I have a nice tool roll in my Tour Pak , just for my Harley & have never needed it .
  11. I would pay to use it or buy into it .
  12. <thumbsup>
  13. Those Peddles opening, would put a hurt on tissue & internal Organs . Thanks for posting.
  14. Carpet bomb them !
  15. I also don't see a problem with it , as said ,"as long as you are doing your Receiver " , same as if you had the Jig's . Good Idea ! Could set up for 1911 80% 'er's from TM .
  16. One thing you have to remember & I'm sure you know , is , the 308AR's are a different animal than the .223/5.56 . Might be because its a .308 & the power of the cartridge may have different characteristics . Did you check head space before you Reamed the Chamber ? By all means test live ammo in different configurations & see how it works out , I'm curious & would appreciate the results . It is very time consuming working up a load , I just spent about a year setting some up for my 20' & 16 " 308AR's .
  17. I have been thinking of getting Series II for a while now , just don't do much trigger work any more . To many custom drop in's , for all kinds of firearms now a days. Even though you may have to do some work with the drop in's , most aren't that bad.
  18. There are a lot of jigs to do trigger jobs on 1911's.
  19. I believe Tripledeuce answered you question. Since you are going to load them one at a time any way with the COL that you are running , use heavier bullets.
  20. Two seasons ago I shot a nice nine pointer on the run with my slug gun & I'm lucky the scope was a Nikon Monarch with rubber eye cup , it hit me pretty hard ,but didn't feel a thing until the Adrenalin went away . No marks or cuts, just a sore head .
  21. I would like to see some day time photo's from outside .

    XDS 9

Now you hurt the feelings of my F150 . I don't own or have ever owned or plan on owning a Sig . so there , they're JUNK also ! <laughs>
  23. Brass markings should just wipe off .
  24. <thumbsup>
