Yea...but I think if he was under enough threat to be soliciting money that it would get more than a minor mention. Someone tries to take him out every year and it never goes anywhere. Might be some Nigerians trying to capitalize on a new scam since the lotto deal got too much publicity.

Agree...I think the ACS L is my go-To stock from here on out. Weight is relatively close to the others like it....priced nice....locks up tight as a fixed stock and I like the way it looks more than the str. The cheek weld is perfect and allows me to transition to my offset optic with no repositioning. Just a slight " roll" of the rifle.

I thought magpul bought the design from them and just made it work? It ended up being the UBR.

Read a big collapsable stock comparison somewhere. Can probably google it easy. The UBR was unbreakable..most of the magpul and vltor stocks held up well....that ergo was at the bottom of the pile. Was useless after the first drop.

Def on the down swing. Already seeing parts pop up for normalish prices. Just saw a AR on my local backpage for $900 and the average has gone from $2300 to $1300 almost overnight. people have figured out there will be no sweeping federal AWB...but obviously people are still worried about a mag capacity limit judging by all the douche bags selling $30+ pmags.

I passed through the little gun shop here in the town im vacationing in. I was amazed to see a decent selection of EBRs and accessories. They also have there own lowers with a cool roll mark. People collect spoons....shot glasses...coffe mugs....how cool would a big display case full of local branded lowers!

The gouge itself is one thing..dickish, but seems to be the way things are on most forums (the admin of my local board encourages it as a "salute to capitalism") The real classy move was to argue with the mods instead of just taking the wrist slap gracefully..and topping it off with some direct smack talk about the guy that gave him a good deal. Theres plenty of other forums for that crap. My internet etiquette leaves something to be desired..but im on good behavior here because its a nice community and thats a rare thing. I was dangerously inventive. My improvised explosives career was impressive, but ended abruptly. I took a large CO2 cylinder (think it was meant to inflate a small rubber raft) filled it with a mixture of various flamibles (black powder...open fireworks....match heads..) on the larger rounded end I filed a hole just big enough to fit a 12g primer. It was a work of art.... And it was so Fn loud it shook windows in other neighborhoods. it also shot like a cruise missile right into my leg behind the knee. Split all the tendons and actually clamped the artery down without cutting it. I spent a week in the hospital and the whole summer in a leg brace. Had to have the dressing changed twice a day consisting of a long piece of gauze wrapped around my reattached tendons. Was pretty aweful.

Botach has been giving away gg&g stuff...maybe they will get a deal going on those mounts if I wait long enough! Also have a weaver tactical and I like it alot. Its all the scope I need and then some.
