  1. Followed in quick by the coffee pot smashing on the bridge of their nose, followed by rapid slicing motions with the glass still left on the handle. Jon
  2. 500 lumens!! Man! That'll make muzzle flash look like less dark. Jon
  3. I have a Bisley Blackhawk SS Convertible .45acp/.45 Colt with the 5.5" barrel. You should be happy! Now...more on the knife please!! Jon
  4. I had a girlfriend like that. Went flying once, saw something interesting, asked her to hold the yoke steady while I checked out the chart..."No no no! I can't! I don't want to crash!" :o Mindset is KEY! While them not having proper weapons is irritating in this video, their instruction to "use improvised weapons! Be determined!" is great! Jon
  5. Welcome Lethal Threat! Whoa...deja vu! Jon
  6. Oh...that explains why every time I tried to pop that zit I farted. Jon
  7. I'm seeing three images of rifle stuff. Good looking stuff! Jon
  8. <lmao> Sounds like me getting on WebMD. "C'mon Honey...just see if that freckle under my scrotum has changed shape/color!" I think she amended my life insurance to be doubled if I die "...in the nude, falling off the bathroom counter with a mirror in his hand." Jon
  9. It is hard to fathom that people only buy AR parts... :cookoo: I get stuff for everything I buy...springs, grips, sights, mounts. I must be sicker with the "gunitis" than you guys. Jon
  10. Amature! <laughs> Don't blame you a bit...I've always got 28 minimum on me. Of .45ACP. Open carry can cause undue attention, from public or police. TPD likes to believe they are in Little Chicago and treat everyone as a criminal. Jon
  11. I don't know anyone willing to part with theirs. But if word comes out I'll let you know! Jon
  12. Sweet! Recoil does look close to zip. Was anyone else getting Japanese Godzirra sound on the clip? Jon
  13. For awhile I had a Remmy 7400 in .308, which is a pretty light rifle. It was not real comfortable to shoot. Jon
  14. That's funny! Chuck has a pretty good sense of humor about those. My personal favorite is "Underneath Chuck's beard isn't a chin, only another fist." Jon
  15. Really? I've never had anyone ask me poop when I open carry. Pumping gas once there was a group of homeless bumming change...men and women. I heard one say "I'll go ask him for a buck," and the others said "Don't ask him! He's wearing a gun!" To which the first guy said "I don't give a fornicate...I'm just asking for a dollar!" I gave him a buck and his buddies looked amazed that I didn't blow him away. Maybe those vibes just ooze from me? <dontknow> :cookoo: There's been times when engaging people in conversation for several minutes, then they say "Holy crap! You're carrying a gun!" The reply is "You just noticed that? Good thing I wasn't a threat." <laughs> We should start rifle carry...you start in SV and I'll start up here in Marana (don't trust TPD). Liberty with the Eotech and a vest of mags. I'll start in Naughton's Heating and Plumbing, walk in and say "Is this sign for real? No handguns allowed?" <lmao> Jon
  16. Perhaps the more urban/suburban saying should be "A pistol is only good for fighting your way back to your SHOTGUN!" I'm getting ready to mod out my Mossy 930 Grace. Going to get a turkey barrel and a longer mag extension...should be able to boost capacity up to 11 or 12 rounds. Jon
  17. SSDDuc996, welcome aboard the board! Be safe out there. Jon
  18. Yup...survivalshop is correct. Lots of the dudes that work with me in SAFE have ordered Garands. Many times the rifle is in its original cosmoline. Jon
  19. Had a lady student that was paraplegic, took a basic pistol class. She was planning on getting a revolver with a 6" barrel to conceal in her chair. ;D There's a HUGE difference between Liberty and my .357 Marlin, which can be carried all day by about anyone. Forget whose school it is but they make students carry their rifle EVERYWHERE, to get used to it. Gets to a point where you feel naked with out your rifle. How I feel without my pistol now. Jon
  20. Welcome tolbndfishin from AZ! Jon
  21. Or would you prefer a cool 12 gauge to fight your way back to? Or have slung across your shoulder for that matter. Jon
  22. ...is to fight your way back to the rifle you never should have laid down." Clint Smith So who of you carry a rifle that will be within "fighting back distance" at any part of the day? I know a lot of people in smaller communities that have "truck guns", the trucks usually not being to far from where they may be. If it were socially acceptable, as in Israel and Switzerland, would you sling your rifle and have it with you at all times? Jon
  23. Welcome joe quick! Lots of good info here...you'll find what you want. Jon
  24. Oh yeah! I'm going to have to alternate soon and do the priming one at a time on the press. Sized I don't know how many 9mm Luger this morning...still have bags to go. Jon
