  3. Rene, what the hell were you doing in Nuevo Loredo to start with? There is nothing in Mexico that could lure me across that border now!
  4. So, what steel is the best use for just generally fukking up the edge? That is pretty much all I do with mine!
  5. Learn something new every day! I never thought to even try them with my Pmags!

Tom, the reason I asked is because they looked a lot like some mesquite grips I had years ago that were made by a local guy. I asked him a few months ago to make another set for me and he said he would but I haven't heard anything from him since then. Guess I should call him. Your grips have gotten me back to wanting a nice set again! They are beautiful!

Yup, I built that one over 15 years ago and it's still going strong. Painted the grip too. I don't know how many rounds I've put through it, but back when I was seriuosly competing I was shooting around 10,000 rnds a year! I did fit a new barrel to it a couple of years ago, but the old one is still in pretty good shape and I used it to build a backup gun on a Para frame I had lying around.

Here's my competition gun. If you can't dazzle 'em with brilliance, baffle 'em with bullpoopy!

    Hey Tom, is that mesquite?
  11. I hope so Jon, I felt bad about missing last year. I'm better off financially than I was last year so it's looking good.
  12. Damn I love a good drum line! Thanks for posting that Jon!
  13. Yuuup!!!! He's hooked! :P
  14. Ohhh! Make no mistake Jon, I agree wholeheartedly and fortunately my daughter lives in Casa Grande. If things were to really go south here I could be staying in Arizona with very little effort!
  15. I have a feeling his fellow inmates may make life rosy for him!
  16. Well, I've come to the conclusion this list is severely whacked!
  17. And sinkholes, don't forget the sinkholes!
  18. ^^^^This! I shoot a LOT of 40 S&W and when I discovered Bear Creek bullets I never looked back.
  19. The pub of my choice is my den, and the beer that's always on tap is Ziegenbock Amber Ale. Matter of fact, I just ordered another keg today! It's a lot like Shiner Bock and since it's a regional beer Shiner is always my second choice.
  20. Wrong! You can have to much ammo if you're drowning!
  21. I'm german, I just drink beer. If it's before noon I have been known to down a few bloody marys though!
  22. ROFLMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  23. Wow, just wow! Rest in peace warrior!
  24. Great story! You have a great way of telling it, and I enjoyed reading it.
  25. WOW! I can't believe how far down New Mexico ranked, especially that far below Texas! There are criteria that they apparently didn't take into account. In New Mexico you can carry a firearm anywhere in your vehicle, loaded or unloaded even if you're not a resident. Your vehicle is considered the same as your home here. If I'm not mistaken you try that in Texas without a concealed carry license and see what happens if you get pulled over, it ain't gonna be pretty! When I was shooting the USPSA matches in El Paso the president of the host club would warn all of the out of staters to keep their firearms unloaded and locked in the trunk unless they had a CCL.
