  1. If you decide to bring your RV we have a place to park on your way through with electric and water hook up, no waste though.
  2. The 10mm was developed with large primers. When they decided to shorten the cartridge and make the 40 S&W the prototypes all had large primers but when it went into production the 40 was made with small primers. That's the first I've heard of 10mm cases with small primer pockets. I hate when the industry does crap like that, it is inconvenient as hell on a progressive reloading machine. They did the same thing with the 45 ACP and I run across those every now and then. I toss them in the trash, I don't need the headache.
  3. JT, I'm really interested in hearing how that gas block works out for you, I love mine! Those ball bearings have to be the smallest ones I have ever seen, you're lucky you spotted that thing.
  4. So, $1.04 a round for berdan primed surplus ammo? Since I reload and had plenty of reloading supplies I haven't had to buy live ammo since before all this B.S. started. Damn I'm glad I had the foresight to stock up! I feel bad for the folks just getting started with a new caliber, that has to suck!
  5. I stocked up on mags after the Assault Weapons ban sunset and the only mags I've bought in several years now are mags for the 40 S&W and 38 Super 1911s I acquired recently. Rifle mags have been a non-issue for me for a long time now, even after my youngest got out of the Marines and I gave him a bunch of mags for his stuff. I also stocked up on a bunch of reloading stuff after Sandy hook and have stayed on top of that up until the pandemic hit. I had everything here to reload pretty much all my stuff (still working on some of it) except for .223. If I wanted to load all my .223 brass I would have to take out a second mortgage on the house!
  6. Been there and done that! We got two granddaughters when they were 4 & 5 and they had some serious problems. It all came out years later and their stepdad was the cause (you can pretty well guess what happened). I turned everything over to Maricopa County Sheriffs Dept. (Arizona) but it ended up going nowhere. The girls were a blessing but I will be a scourge on their stepfather if I ever come across him!
  7. THAT would be my wife right there!
  8. Rockboy, you were asked for specifics and totally ignored that. You should go read this; We ask for specifics because we need them to diagnose issues over the internet, WE don't have YOUR gun in our hands!
  9. That thing is shaping up great brother! Adjustable stocks are nice but I still love the look of an A1 /A2 stock!
  10. I would go ahead and bump that buffer up to the 5.3 weight. That's the weight these things were originally designed to run with and it will work fine with the Sprinco orange spring.
  11. Yup! I built one just like that for a friend of mine back several years ago and it has always functioned just fine.
  12. The Del-Ton 308 rifles are DPMS platform.
  13. Since you posted this in the Contests section, what is the prize for the correct answer?
  14. LaRue sent me one of these with one of his triggers, no charge! I think 98 also has one.
  15. Been hitting the Jameson again brother?
  16. That law was already passed in New Mexico and guess what? It's not being enforced! Why? Because it is an unenforceable law. Just like the article says, without gun registration there's no way to enforce it, plain and simple. Yeah, we need to speak up to our representatives about it but it has no teeth, it's feel good legislation to garner the liberal vote.
  17. Nope, just the ones they needed!
  18. PETA actually stands for 'People Eating Tasty Animals'.
  19. Welcome from New Mexico! I was 40......................a while ago!
  20. High speed wobbles are a bitch! Josh had that issue with his Jeep Wrangler until I fixed it.
  21. Happy birthday brother!
  22. I rebuilt my old 77 ElectraGlide in the livingroom one winter. After that, there's no way my wife would let me near the house with a forklift!
  23. From his first post it seems the headspace was checked and found to be okay.
  24. I was lucky, I had two first class pistolsmiths in the same town I live in that were happy to coach me when I first started.
