The local PD carried XDMs for several years and the guys really liked them. They were in 40 cal and when the PD decided to go to 9mm they went to Glocks. A lot of the guys say they would rather have their XDM back.

First it was primers and now that they are available again powder is in short supply. Dammit!

I like the Mossbergs, great gun for a reasonable price. I bought a Shockwave for my 'RV' gun. I use the 1&3/4" 'mini' shells in it with #4 buck loads. I figure it's a great option for the confined spaces in an RV and overpenetration in an RV park probably wouldn't be an issue.

I'm still trying to understand why you are loading berdan cases in 308 when there are boxer primed cases everywhere. You must have to look hard to even find berdan 308 cases, I don't think I've ever seen one that wasn't steel.

Hell if i know, I was just cranking 'em out and it snapped! It IS over 20 years old though. I'm seriously considering sending the machine in to Dillon for their rebuilding service. It's something like $90 and you basically get a new reloading machine back. I would guess the round count on it to be pretty damn close to 100K!
