What you're referring to is neck sizing. As a rule, it's only done for brass that will be fired in the same bolt action it was originally fired in, and is done to get the most accuracy possible out of that particular gun. It's definitely not recommended for semi auto firearms.

Load them up and shoot them! Don't worry about the sealant, it will go away when you fire the rounds.

Yeah well, I'm not contributing to that schitt! In the last 10 years about the only off the shelf ammo I've bought was a few boxes of 38 Super after I got my 38 Super 1911 and shotgun shells (I don't reload shotgun). I started out with pretty good supplies for reloading and have picked components up at decent prices when they have popped up. It's kept me afloat all through this so called 'ammo shortage'.

I'm sure he didn't do mouth to mouth Sketch. When I retired 20+ years ago we had already gotten away from doing that. We either had ambu bags or a mouth piece that kept us from mouth to mouth contact and prevented any vomit from getting into our mouths.

That's why I reload! The only factory loaded stuff I've had for several years now is courtesy of the Feds. Come to think of it, most of my 5.56 brass is courtesy of the Feds too!

Hell yeah, you can help me with my kitchen flooring! The damn waterline to the refrigerator started leaking and warped the old tongue and groove flooring underneath the high dollar laminate flooring I just had done a few months ago! Now that everybody is gone I am starting on THAT repair while working around trips to the doctors in Las Cruces with Mayra. Damn, just found out I have to have her over there for another test and procedure at 7:30 AM tomorrow. They also said to bring $1200 for the copay! FML!!!!!!

It's just really quiet around here right now. My sister was down from Kansas with her new husband John Jones (yeah, she married the Martian Manhunter) last week and my granddaughter was here for several days after that with her new husband from Norfolk VA. Everybody is gone now.
