  1. Or they don't come back!
  2. Yup! I remember 2 years ago almost to the day when we moved Josh from 29 Palms, 116 when we drove through Phoenix. We were loading the trailer with furniture at 3:00 AM in 29 Palms and it was 104!
  3. WORD!
  4. I've eaten it a few times and have to agree with you, not something I would want to try again.
  5. Bwahahaha!!! I will personally buy you a copy of that when it comes out on DVD Tom!
  6. These things scare the crap out of me and yes, I've handled them. We all know you're supposed to keep your booger hook off the bang switch until you are ready to fire BUT there are always those who don't, especially in the heat of the moment. When you squeeze your other three fingers the index finger tends to follow suit and bad things can happen if said index finger is on a trigger, especially under stress which is very often the situation when a gun is presented. I have a friend who is retired from LASO where he was on the SWAT team for years, involved in 12 shootings and was shot in one of those shootings. He concealed carries an M8 religiously (in El Paso) and loves the thing. Myself, I want nothing to do with them. JMHO
  7. At least it's not tupperware! I got nothing against plastic fantastics (my concealed carry is an M&P) but the Glock BBQ gun thread got me going Call a glock of any sort a BBQ gun in Texas (where the term originated) and those ole boys will school you about what a BBQ gun really is!
  8. A Glock BBQ gun? ROFLMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wouldn't waste my time OR money! You can put a dress and lipstick on a pig but it will still be a pig! Just sayin.........
  9. I gave Tom my truck gun to practice on. I'm excited to see what he does to it!
  10. Damn straight on BOTH accounts!
  11. Glad you liked the beer brother! BTW, Mayra is the breakfast queen, she can make breakfast in no time and with pretty much whatever is in the fridge. She's made some amazing omelettes with leftovers. My son Jesse is the second oldest boy, the oldest is up in Alaska. To put Tom's comments in perspective, he is getting ready for his first body building competition and he didn't really need to put on any muscle when he decided to do it, just cut weight. Fukker is as big as a house! Josh is a bit smaller version of his brother Those two get those genetics from my wife, nobody in my family can put on that kind of muscle! Just got Josh's gun together and it is badazzed! I'll wait until I have the wife's gun together to post pics.
  12. Dayum! I can't wait to get those guns back together. I'll post pics of them here once they are assembled. Thanks brother! Great job!
  13. Is there an echo in here? I already posted the same link JT!
  14. You can't beat the Larue MBT trigger for the price, especially when it's on sale; https://www.larue.com/products/larue-tactical-mbt-2s-trigger/ The guys on the forum here who have Faxon barrels have very pleased with them, myself included. You don't have to change the bolt but it's best you have the headspace checked after installing a different barrel.
  15. THIS WAS NOT A SCHOOL SHOOTING! Goddamn clickbait writing reporter and irresponsible writing bullshiit out the wazzo on this one! This was an argument between two adults in the parking lot of the stadium where a graduation was taking place! Had not a GODDAMN thing to do with school or students other than where it took place! https://www.al.com/news/index.ssf/2018/05/fatal_shooting_after_georgia_g.html Fuk me, this kinda shiit makes me want to put a boot in someone's azz! I'm starting to hate reporters more than lawyers and that's pretty bad!
  16. ...
  17. I know a guy in Tucson who can make these!
  18. I don't give a crap if they are GIVING their shiit away, I wouldn't set foot in their store.A man's gotta draw a line somewhere!
  19. Yup, he said the S word!!!!!!
  20. I'll give you a tip for winning guns Ron, small venues! Every gun I've won has been at one of the runs our club puts on (Choir Boys LEMC) or at a Friends of NRA banquet.
  21. Rob, I wish every cop out there could shoot that much. A lot of them have no interest in anything like that but there are the ones who take their shiit seriously and it's a damn shame they can't put in the practice that they would like to.
  22. Yeah, that's what I said about this house too!
  23. Bwahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  24. I used the $500 that I got for that Glock I won to help pay for this one!
  25. I addressed this stuff early on in my career. Started shooting 1911 style pistols (same as I was carrying) in USPSA competition. For several years I shot upwards of 18K rounds a year in practice and competition. I KNEW I could perform under pressure and the safety on the 1911 was never an issue for me.
