  1. I gotta get one of these! https://www.rainierarms.com/xm42-flamethrower-gen3-9459/?trk_msg=LAJP0JSER60KN2525S3ER66UF0&trk_contact=CCM1L42B6H11OTO9IV10FHBVDG&trk_sid=VLOAMJMK9RAI506JC5AJR67LBK&utm_source=Listrak&utm_medium=Email&utm_term=XM42+Flamethrower+Gen3&utm_campaign=sale&utm_content=sale-8-24-17
  2. I noticed they had 4 of these in stock, wish I would have bought one of the real wood models when they were first released.
  3. Thank you, very nice!
  4. Yep.............but it's even easier to just drop in a MechArmor CH!
  5. Links dammit! No fair holding out on a brother.
  6. All three LaRue triggers I have bought came with an extra spring, a heavy one just for that purpose. Let me know if yours didn't Doc.
  7. Freedom Munitions has Norma Tac-223 on sale for 27 cents per round, buy 560 rounds and get free shipping. Norma has a great reputation for very good reloadable brass. This price is cheaper than you would pay for new empty Norma brass most places. https://www.freedommunitions.com/ammunition/rifle/223-remington/norma-223-55gr-fmj-20ct.html
  8. Love it, to bad it has already been enacted without legislation.........
  9. I knew something must be up, there were deer, bear and turkey running all over in the middle of the day. Parking lots on the mountain were full of chevy volts and Toyota Prius with dozens of people laying on the ground staring at the sun.

  13. Buttonbuck owns a LFA 308AR rifle. I may use use a receiver and rail set from him on my next 308 build. Bought a 300 BO pistol upper from them for dad, it was very nice for the $200, nitron BCG and never a failure. Used a 5.56 receiver and rail set for a lightweight build that was problem free.
  14. Looks like you found the issue. Nathan will take care of you.
  15. I believe he is machining his own receivers now so the matrix info might not apply. I know one member here that bought an early LF rifle, he had big issues to start but they fixed him up in the end, totally replaced the rifle eventually. Chris stands by his stuff. I see he is selling custom builders kits now; https://www.livefreearmory.com/product/308-build-your-own-kit/
  16. Can't go wrong with the classic P series Sigs. My MK25's just don't stop, clean dirty, cheap ammo, doesn't matter, they go bang every time! My 938 took several trips back to Sig for updated parts but is now a very reliable pistol, only about trouble free 800 rounds from the last fix so I don't want to count all the chickens with it yet.
  17. They sure look twice the size when they are coming at you! I had one come alive in my trunk as a kid. Caught it in a trap and gave it the usual whack to the head with a large wrench, several in fact. The blood was coming out the ears, mouth , and nose. I figured it for dead but when I got to the fur buyer's place later that morning and opened the trunk, had a pissed off beaver on my hands! The one in the video was big, maybe 50 pounds wet, not sure they get 80 pounds, if they do thats about it.
  18. Maybe it is an optical illusion but the gas block looks odd, like it isn't touching the barrel on one side. Did you take a measurement on the original barrel? Faxon has pretty good QC, you might want to ask Nathan from Faxon, he has a thread for questions in the sponsor section.

  20. My MI handguard is similar. This is after being torqued down.
  21. Pm me with a price if Aaron doesn't get back to you, love to have a B model upper like that. I know just how to deal with that pin
  22. I'm hoping to build a .260 before 2020, hope you have all the tweaks figured out by then so I can copy cat you, now don't be a stranger
  23. Lookup Sig Talk, a much friendlier forum with lots of people real knowledgeable on Sigs, my hotmail account worked fine for them!
