  1. Remember when my old boss had the bright idea to bid work all over Texas so we could keep busy in the winter. He just couldn't seem to understand why it took me all day to get from the Amarillo job to the Port Lavaca job, "Hell Jim, they're only a few inches apart on the map" he says..............
  2. Things have flipped around on me, I had always been able to 7.62x51FGMM cheaper than the 308 version, now it costs 20 cents a round more!
  3. No Bic? Seriously, I have some of that kit for back up but I keep Bic lighters in every bag, case, and car I own.
  4. I've got a good pile of M118LR and FGMM 7.62 175's but most describe it as having the same FC headstamp case and the same 175SMK as the FGMM but using a different powder. http://www.dtic.mil/ndia/2009infantrysmallarms/tuesdaysessioniii8524.pdf
  5. They already sold out on the blem lowers; http://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-gen2-pa10-blem-308-complete-classic-lower-receiver-77932912.html?trk_msg=AJ37I6MUS2J4PEK6HEV2J0DA34&trk_contact=CCM1L42B6H11OTO9IV10FHBVDG&utm_source=Listrak&utm_medium=email&utm_term=http%3a%2f%2fpalmettostatearmory.com%2fpsa-gen2-pa10-blem-308-complete-classic-lower-receiver-77932912.html&utm_campaign=Daily+Deals+Email&utm_content=12%3a00+Email Prepare for a flood of questions when they are received by the new owners!
  6. I know I never see it for sale!
  7. Welcome from Iowa, via Pensacola! Saw that weapon on Gunbroker, I have a Matrix upper and lower, upper has ArmaLite threads. I'll try my Matrix lower with my Armalite upper when I get home at Christmas time. I shoot my build with P-mags, never thought to try the metal Armalite mags. Will it lock the bolt back manually and on the last round?
  8. Very nice!
  9. here's mine..........
  10. Hard to find the bolt alone for that price! If I didn't already have a spare from his last sale I would've jumped myself. His Master BCG Spare Parts Kit is a steal at the normal price, but again I have already grabbed one on the last sale.
  11. My Savage 24 over/under, 20 gauge magnum and .22 WMR, my Father bought it new the year I was born. For hunting it does everything I need in Iowa. Pheasant, duck, rabbits, squirrels, coyote, coon, and deer have all fallen to the clunky old single shot. It has had the finish stripped off the stock and the bluing is 90% gone, there is a finish nail head epoxied in for a front sight compliments of my Grandfather, but she never fails to deliver on game and varmints when I do my part. It doesn't get much use anymore but I've got grandsons that may be putting it to use again soon.
  12. Live free armory has a good sale on a 16 inch rifle; http://www.livefreearmory.com/product/lf308-16-tactical-carbine/

    Hello

    Welcome from Iowa, via Pensacola!
  14. No, you feel it when it hits the second stage but there is no more travel, it just breaks at the 2 pounds added pressure.
  15. Not like a set trigger at all. Basically has a 2 1/2 pound take up to a "wall" for lack of a better term, then another 2 pounds and it breaks, like a glass rod, super crisp. Pull is smooth all the way. Because you already have the 2 1/2 pounds on it the extra 2 is really all you notice so they feel lighter. At least that is m y take on a 2 stage.
  16. At least I don't have to see shark boy listed on the front page anymore.
  17. +1, Haven't built with any other BCG, can't see a reason I would. He has 3 Black Nitride blems listed right now for $155 each, couldn't see a blem on the one I got and have not heard any complaints from others.
  18. Welcome from Iowa, via Pensacola!
  19. http://www.larue.com/larue-tactical-mbt-2s-trigger Damn good trigger for $99.

  21. Anarchy may be all that stands between us and the marxist dialectic.
  22. Had the multiple hose thing myself, a couple times. Forgot about the one in my pecker when they explained that I would be crapping into the bag stuck to my side until they put my colon back together, hard one to wrap your head around. Last time round I took the one in my pecker out myself, while hallucinating from all the morphine, didn't hurt but felt really weird.
