That surprises me, I would have guessed my tactical at around 5 or 6 pounds. It is smooth and crisp so I've never felt the need to swap it like I did with the junk triggers Sig put out, they were just intolerable!
I prefer my green laser over my red as well. The green seems to have better range at night but the battery doesn't seem to last as long, really not enough to make a big difference though. I've got a cheap Tru-glo dot sight with both colors on my 22/45 that the kids use, they seem to gravitate to the green setting as well.
Go for the Sig, all metal and rumor has it they are getting the bugs worked out of the 14 round mags so the capacity issue is level with that.......but then I'm a Sigaholic so your purchase would give me a little "contact high" ;D
Just realized the Op was the "Still Cased Ammo" thread OP.....his grammar has improved but certainly not his manners. ......... he has been back to read but was smart enough not to engage!
I've been looking over the ArmaLite site for a buffer kit and realized they now have FREE shipping on orders of $100 and more, at least that is what it said when I placed items in my cart. $5 flat rate shipping showed untill I went over the $100.
They still lack some details on the items but it looks like they are headed the right way!
My Sig PM400 with a 100 round Surefire mag sits by my bed at night. It gets loaded with varmint grenades or these lately as they are cheaper;

I much prefer the capacity of a rifle...errr I mean "pistol" over that of a shotgun.
So very true, I've seen and worked on many across the country and they seem to be very similar beyond just the name. Maybe the PC crowd should consider banning the name, renaming the streets, or at least taking down the street signs....but then how would the out of towners know where to buy their crack <dontknow>
Message left, email sent..........
These same asshats should have resigned before agreeing to remove the last aircraft carrier from the persian gulf, it is treasonous to remove any air cover from our troops in harm's way.....but then the current CIC can be expected to degrade our country at every opportunity. :angry:
This ^ is the reason the president was given the power to pardon.......not that this one would consider it. maybe the next president will remember this man and do the right thing.
So I'm not the only one then! I noticed that when zeroing at 200 yards I would need a click or two when moving from the lead sled to the bags and bipod. The sled does help me avoid those fifth round flyers that ruin a wonderful start to a group though!
Welcome from Iowa! Planning on a little stress test for your rifle? Odds are someone here will have an answer for your issue if you don't find it with the search function.

I lucked into briefly meeting Evil Knievel when I was 9 years old. We were on a camping vacation in Idaho and saw him in a roadside park there. He had a semi-camper with a snazzy paint job. I was so awestruck I didn't even think to ask for an autograph :hail: . A larger than life experience for sure!
I found a picture of the semi on the net;
Never got beat, they constantly reminded us we were volunteers and could leave whenever we wanted....then convinced me to beat myself up and enjoy it. :banana:
It would be interesting to know just how many times I smacked the FA in basic and AIT alone.
Mine is adjusted so I have to put downward pressure on the upper to push the pin in. It then holds the upper pretty snug unless I squeeze. I don't have much for side to side play. I would think a tighter fitting pin would prevent some of this side to side movement.
Here is the response I got from ArmaLite when I asked about the oversize pin specs;
"The only specs I can give you is that the EA5101 AR-10 oversize takedown pin is 1.18" long and the OD of the pin is .277"-.291". We do not hand pick these for OD size before shipping.

This seems like a big variance in sizes of the pin when one is looking for that perfect fit???
