Nervous Energy Milk Stout from Tree House Brewing in Massachusetts, thank you Brother! Maple and smoke is what I smelled and it wasn't real strong on aroma. My wife takes a sip an says " Chocolate, coffee………..Hmmmm………I like that!" with a big grin. I get the taste of a high end latte but a slightly smoky version. I get hints of the maple and cinnamon, all the sweet you want, in a good way. They have plenty of sweet in it but not too much. The creamy maple nugget taste comes on as it warms. A fine tuned stout, absolute pleasure to drink, ambrosia! 300 lumen light, this schit is thick!

What do you have on order or in the mail? Part 2

Seen it both ways since the move. Used to be like clock work but at least they are shipping again. -
Every Day, Once A Day, Give Yourself An IPA from Evil Twin Brewing in Connecticut. Catch a whiff of vanilla and fresh hops. Flavor up front really reminds me of another of their beers with a Pina Colada twist. Sweet kind of roasty coconut flavor, a little malt. Then you get that citrusy hop flavor, lime pith bitter near the end but it mellows quickly and leaves that coconut vibe to close. The vanilla and the sweetness come on as it warms. Good stuff, that local beer pusher is doing a great job bringing in the NE quality beer……. but he still can't find any Tree House!

all I can add on that is an AMEN Brother!

Happy Birthday Tom !

Looks and sounds nice!

One would be to slow it down a bit, it would be like a set gas bleed off valve. Most generally 308 AR's can use a little taming.

Treat American Imperial IPA from Tree House Brewing in Massachusetts. Mild fruity hop aroma, my 7 year old grandson said it smelled like oranges, nailed it his first sniff . So tropical fruit comes to mind when I take a drink, but not the usual, a little more spice, Kiwi . Interesting feel, goes from a creaminess to a fizzy bitter end. That fresh green hop bite lingers for a good while, gotta be a pile of hops in this brew! More grapefruity as it warms, less of the spice. Extremely enjoyable, very drinkable and again, unique! Thank you much Brother!

Aero ambi AR-15 receiver and upper. Pile of stuff from Primary arms most notably a KAC ambi magazine release that I hope will play well with the Aero. Going to try the Bear Creek 10.5 in. 300BO, still hunting for a SBa3 brace in FDE. -
Now I gotta try to fix that......slim odds I'm sure.

I had a D Wilson bolt that was cured with a new Armalite plug and spring. There has to be other sellers of springs that are always good but I bought a large batch of Armalite branded springs on sale making them my go to.

@edgecrusher Sucked that Julius down when I got home Friday night after dodging road closures from flooding for hours. Didn't take my usual notes while drinking it but suffice it to say it did not disappoint, hazy goodness and so easy to drink. Can't than you enough for the opportunity to to sample these, hope the TG offerings are to your liking. Snow from Tree House Brewing in Massachusetts. I figured Snow was a good one to empty today with all the snow melt around here. The head on this beer replicates that fine wind blown snow look and like the drifts outside it melted quick. Light aroma, really fresh tropical smell, citrusy. Has a real mild, smooth tropical fruit flavor then dives into the citrus bitter and a grassy, peppery bite. For me a nice sipper with all the concentrated hop flavor. It got a little sweeter and richer tasting as it warmed. Just a fantastic beer, a unique drink.

Out of stock regularly at Armalite, but comes back in often now, this is the part you need; https://www.armalite.com/product/10007010-ar10-rifle-length-gas-tube/ Put in for a notification so I can grab a couple extra when they come back, many have good results when calling them about out of stock items. There are other suppliers but just make sure it has that part number.

First I'm going to avoid answering your question by asking a question. What are the downsides to having a front sight base? The weapon that I try to stay close to has one, truck guns, house guns have them. Set a carbine up for hunting that has one, heavy rain and blowing snow make optics a lot tougher to use. Fun stuff for the range not a requirement at all but I enjoy using a FSB or BUIS
-
Maybe a surprise but possibly one. I am big on consistency between weapons and the flat trigger would go against that. I also really like the wide shoe on my present MBT, I will be buy several more of those at the present price!

Give a quality ejector spring a go as well, doubt PA uses top quality springs like Fulton does.
-
I should have been clearer, referring to the extractor spring. On a couple occasions I have seen an Armalite extractor spring, same as the Fulton, fix an ejection issue. It would be a cheap and simple fix if it worked. If I remember correctly it was a double spring that was replaced.
-
Curious if the PA would function using the Fulton spring. Seen a spring change do the trick in a couple applications.
-
Actually great news for the gun industry, sure to spark some sales.

Welcome from Iowa, via Missouri!

Sounds like all good quality parts. Wouldn't do the JP spring myself, never been bothered enough by the spring noise to use a more complicated and expensive part, Tubbs flat wire spring did what I needed. I have tried the Superlative on a 308 and found the gas bleed off side of the adjustment would not bleed enough gas, the restrictive side works fine, also learned the bleed off port will blast away at a suppressors finish and burn a wrap.

Sosus Double IPA from Toppling Goliath Brewing in Decorha Iowa. Fruity aroma with a hint of malt. Tasty tropical fruit flavors, pineapple, citrus, mango and such. The malt is there but just a mild bready note, a little sweet. There is a spicy flavor there as well, almost a peppery bite but not supper strong. Not as thick as it looks, goes down super easy, dangerously easy.
