  1. Fukin comedian.
  2. Ha! You'd be surprised my man. She's more like me than her mother. Plus, keep in mind that I married young (too fukin young), so Kate is closing on 27.
  3. Technically, I guess it was more like a solid 24 hours (ish) from east to west. I was adding the 6 hour hop due South to pick up Matt. I left my place at 0300, picked up Matt around 0900 and was wheels up shortly after that. And I think that it was about noon the following day when we pulled up to Tom's shop (subtract the time difference).
  4. Go figure. I've got a supporter. Though.....it IS almost a 30 hour drive. And I ain't pushin it to try and break my previous time. Flying along at "plaid like" speeds in the middle of nowhere, isn't worth dealing with the officer on the side of the road trying to explaining a gangbox full of rifles. Especially with my daughter with me.
  5. No question there. New Zealand easily wins hands-down as far as distance. Consider my record broken.
  6. Screw that. I wish that you had one of these when the drunkass Maryland rat showed up last December. It would've been easier to start the camp fire.
  7. That would be fuckin cool my brother. Always interested in seeing a working shop in action. Do they do the machining there?
  8. Misfits? Yeah, I'll accept that proudly. As Groucho Marx once said, "I don't wanna be part of any organization that would let a guy like me in".
  9. Well, between Wash and Rob, I never wanna see an eclipse ever again.
  10. That's some funny $hit MM. Sad but true.
  11. Welcome from Maryland.
  12. Yep. None of us want to admit that we live in the peoples republic of Maryland. Welcome aboard my man. Nothing wrong with that 10B upper. In fact, you see fewer and fewer A2 uppers these days.
  13. Welcome from Maryland.

    Tragedy

People like us around here, ALWAYS have your back brother. I just wish that it was easier for us to help as we move about throughout our normal day. I, for one, always take the time to tell a brother (LEO), not that I am one, "thanks" as I encounter them face to face through the day. You guys don't get anywhere NEAR the credit that you deserve. Part time trash collector.....some time, full blown militia men. All of you guys have my UTMOST respect. PERIOD! Now......go FUK yourselves......and carry on.
  15. I tried the AAC forum one time when I first got into suppressors. Screw that. This is the only one I'm involved in. Besides......my brothers are here.
  16. Nah. 12 ouncers are just fine. After all. I'm not in a hurry. I'm gonna drink all night. Tom (and the desert crowd) will attest to that. Besides, the 22's are just gonna get warm as I finish them.
  17. Sounds like I have a new special friend.
  18. Welcome aboard from Maryland.
  19. Answer: Take out your bolt carrier and drop it in a bucket of (at least) 30W Mobil 1. Let it sit in there for as long as you can take it (overnight at the least) before taking it out. Make sure to dry off the face of the bolt, then drop that thing back in your rifle and run the bastard. These large frame AR's like to be really wet during the break-in period. Hell, they like being wet even after it too. Remember. More heat. More pressure. More stress. Lubrication will never hurt ANY mechanical device. No ball busting my man. We all started down this same road at one point or another.
  20. Now you're in trouble......................

    Grilling

Looks pretty tasty Dirk. You've definitely got the talent my good man.
  22. I have a trust set up with my son as a trustee for all of the NFA class 3 stuff. My daughter is the sole beneficiary just in case we both get the "run over by a bus" scenario. But I've been planning to add her on to it also. Outside of that, the two of them can pick and choose, and divide up whatever they want with the rest of my collection. Obviously, it won't matter to me at that point.
  23. Welcome aboard from Maryland Sarge.
  24. Welcome from Maryland.
  25. I'm ALL for that. I'll light off suppressed loads (300 Blk) into my back yard periodically just to keep the neighbors guessing. Wondering what that "click of the action" sound was.
