  1. I think the optics will mostly depend on what you plan on setting up the rifle for. You'll find all the fella's around here run damn near the entire spectrum of optics on all sorts of rifles. As an example, I use a Nightforce NXS on my 10B SASS, a Trijicon ACOG on one of my 10B carbines, an Elcan Spectre on my 10B SBR and straight irons on a 10B A2 carbine (my oldest). I use Troy flip-up backups on just about everything I have, just because I like some kind of redundancy. A bunch of Eotechs on a handful of AR-15 SBR's. Like I said. Pretty much for what you want the rifle to be able to do. Long range, medium range, short range, kick in the door. You name it. More than likely, someone around here either has or had one.

    Welcome from Maryland.
  3. ^^^^98 nailed it. All of my 10B's have both springs on the bottom. As was said, swapping it out is fairly inexpensive too.

  5. Welcome aboard from Maryland.

  7. Old is a relative term. And I wasn't just half full of MGD (depending on the time of day).
  8. Welcome from Maryland.
  9. And that, my brother, is why I'm gonna change that trigger out to a S3G trigger. That was a FUCKIN example of firepower superiority. And just think......we still had 7.62 firepower ready to go after that. The MK18 is probably one of my favorite (read as fun) weapons. Suppressed or not.
  10. Dremel, gorilla glue and JB Weld?
  11. That's an excellent scene from that movie.
  12. Right there with you Doc.

  14. Hey now! That's pretty fukin cool right there. Looks similar to that Bruce Willis movie "The Jackal".
  15. Welcome from Maryland.
  16. The DD MK-18 can take a pounding and keep on going. We probably ran about a thousand rounds through mine back at the fall meet-up shoot. And that was with many, many mag dumps. The night shoot video, with GREG running that thing is awesome. It's on here somewhere. Plus, that thing is still deadly accurate with the EOtech 553 for short to mid-range work.
  17. With the amounts that we drink and shoot when we're all gathered together, the federal budget would need this as it's own separate line-item.
  18. Finally got around to my BDS Tactical order. A basic trama medical bag, a couple 10" GP pouches and another one of their sling bags. Also, a Voodoo Tactical shotgun scabbard.
  19. Welcome aboard from Maryland.
  20. Good write up my man. My only question would be the screw heads. It seems like that they would be rubbing against the side of your face. Or am I seeing this wrong? Whoa, whoa, whoa! Pump the brakes! What is this? I don't remember hearing about this. Holding out on the Armalite guy huh?
  21. Keep gettin up brother. Getting to see and handle some of your stuff while in AZ was awesome.
