  1. Sounds like we have a contender for 308AR storytime. I'm willing to pass the torch.
  2. Welcome from Maryland.
  3. Welcome aboard from Maryland.
  4. Not in this state my brother. That's something that would make all the bed-wetting liberals in Annapolis very, very sad.
  5. Welcome aboard from Maryland.
  6. Nice afternoon project brother. She came together pretty good. I whole-heartedly approve. I love those can wraps. I've been meaning to pick some of them up, since JT first peaked my interest in them.
  7. The approach and assessment. The Score!
  8. 285's it is then.
  9. Whoa, that's a nice lookin unit there Haewired. Good job my man. And yes, the UBR's add a little heft to these things. But if/when the rifle goes CLICK, you can swing that thing around and bludgeon the $hit outta somebody with it. Those stocks are rock solid.
  10. Where did you find the picture of young Rob doc?
  11. This coming from the man with a 500 BLK. And you think that we don't hate you?
  12. Fuk. That reminds me. I gotta send you some RL22 and some projectiles for the fall shoot. After all, it's mid May already. October will be here before we know it.
  13. Rest easy my friend.
  14. Trust what this man says. This is the guy that walked up while Greg and I were shooting at one of the rifle targets. I think it was like 150 yards or so. This bastard pulls out his 1911 and pops the target.........first time. The prick. I think Greg and I were muthafukin him for a minute or so after that.

    Rain

Yep. We're pretty sloppy here on the East coast too. This $hit just keeps coming. Maybe stops for a day or two, just to tease us. And before it can really dry out. Boom. The skies open up. Which always makes me ask. Why can't it just be a steady rain? I mean, it could go on for days like that for all the fuk I care. But no, it's always these doomsday, armageddon types of storms that come rolling through and really FUK everything up.
  17. Haven't had the need to so far. Keep in mind. I've done the cannonball run style of trips when I've gone from my place to Tom's. Only stopping for gas/piss breaks. So it's not like they've been out of my sight. And once at Tom's, I'll unload the rifles overnight before we head out into the desert the following day. Locally, keep in mind that I'm a hermit, and that I don't go anywhere except to work and back for the most part. So I never have the need to transport a box of that size. Maybe only a couple rifles that get tossed in the back, at the most. No $hit right? The typical load-out that I've jammed into one of these to do the AZ run : MRAD, AR-10 SSASS, AR-10 carbine, AR-10 SBR, DD MK-18, 300 BLK SBR. Plus a couple of pistols. Plus 4 suppressors, various optics and other things like bipods for different rifles (usually stowed with it's rifle in it's bag). And, all of the mags for all of the weapons. Plus, I've usually brought at least one other rifle (s) as an off-shoot to show that I do have other interest's outside of AR's As Tom said above. You load all of this $hit into one of these boxes, and they're pretty tough to move. And like I said before, if you wanted to, you could start with a layer of ammo cans in the bottom to add even more weight to them. You won't move these without the help of a forklift.
  18. Definitely go with the gang boxes my man. They're simple and easy (kinda like me). You can pile a decent amount of weapons in them. A layer of ammo in the bottom of them (if you want) will make them heavy enough so that they won't get dragged away easily. Also, they're fairly cheap if you go the Home Depot/Lowes route. They're only about $350 compared against the similarly sized boxes made by Knack. And they still transport fairly easily too. Chuck everything outta them, load the box in the back of the truck, reload said box with weapons......and you're ready to bug out to Toms house. (winces from horrific flashbacks) Though the drive from MD just takes it outta you.

  21. Welcome from Maryland.
  22. She came together pretty good. Good lookin rifle.
  23. Got a Vortex 1x8 strike eagle with MI QD mount coming from DSG. They've got a pretty good deal going right now for $429.
  24. I see what you're trying to do there. Fuker. But seeing that I've already got 5 of them (2 SSASS), I don't think I need another one at this time. Beside's, I've already got enough projects of my own going on as it is.
  25. That's one helluva cheater bar you're using my man.
