  3. Safe or sale? Either way nota bad idea.👍🏻
  4. The moral of the story: When you buy a gun, mentally double the price, and use the extra money to purchase ammo for it right away. Then replace what you shoot religiously.
  5. +1 Should pin JB Matt’s post somewhere. Well said.

    Fall fishing.

The Coho and Brown trout runs are starting up here and I had a good morning. 3 Browns, 3 Coho and 2 25”+ Rainbows, which I released. Gotta be 26”. A filet for dinner and 11 in the freezer.
  8. Just got used to the old one after 5 years.

In your job I bet you do. What I would need would be 100 feet vertical and 300 feet horizontal. My best friend is a retired fire captain and another friend is a National Forest fire fighting crew leader. I going to talk to them about their recommendations and sources.

That would be back up, but I would need a hell of a pump to pull it up 30 feet and still have the pressure I would need. It is doable.

Dang! I just gave away the old electric pump from my wood boiler! Might have been too low a capacity though. Could have run that off my portable Honda generator. Have to start scrounging for parts.

Nice system Mike! Got me thinking I should rig up something similar. By the time we got help it would probably be too late.
  13. Either a blind squirrel found a nut or we are in agreement on this point.
  14. One nice thing about talking and arguing with myself is I am always right.
  15. You’re talking to yourself out loud again.
  16. They passed their share of misinformation for sure. Especially about so called "communist" countries at the behest of our government. But the world new wasn't couched in melodrama everynight.
  17. I trust less and less of the news in general. Everyone reporting seems to have a hidden agenda. I miss the days of Walter Cronkite, Peter Jennings and Chet Huntley and David Brinkley. They gave you the facts and let you make your own mind up.
  18. Just unloaded a six month supply of my dog’s worm pills. Gotta go shopping for a Corvette.🐶

Our drought broke today. We got a couple of inches of rain. Hope its over.
  21. At my age I wouldn’t survive long running and I know the woods around here and what I could trap and harvest. I would dig in, protect what I have and barter what I don’t need for what I do. And realize my life expectancy just got significantly reduced. If you are near water buy a good gill net and store it away.

  24. Sorry to hear about your wife Steve. Those new Oral Xa inhibitors are pricey, but the alternative would be two subcutaneous injections per day with a Low Molecular Weight Heparin, albeit cheaper. I used to market that stuff. Glad you caught it early.
