I have one of these for my patrol rifle. I have no complaints, but not gonna praise it either. still for the price, it is worth it.

Lol. just carry a few extra batteries, they are low cost and low weight. I used many many things in the military that used batteries, just bring extras. Besides we always had irons for backup.

I feel like the government has to much time on its hands that it obviously feels the need to be involved more in our lives than should be for a government.

Beautiful looking rifle. I ordered an aero builder's kit on veteran's day that was supposed to be a freedom kit. a few days later I got an email saying the kits aero sent them were incorrect and were the regular ones. they offered to include a pmag with the regular kit or cancel the order. I went with the regular one with the pmag. I haven't actually seen the freedom lowers advertised anywhere lately. I was a little disappointed, but for $320 after FFL fee with a pmag, I'll survive.

Had venison hearts with onions and peppers last night. was delicious. this is the best way I have found to cook them so they don't overcook or dry out. probably the most under rated piece of meat that sadly many people throw out, which is how I got one given to me and I had one of my own.

I've only ever been to the range when I was in the military or on duty as an officer. I have never been to any sort of formal range otherwise. I'm just a country boy shooting in the back field and taking care of critters around the property. ?

Yeah but I think now more than ever, officers need to step up against things that aren't right. we are supposed to investigate, not just take action because we can.

I think it is where gun confiscation starts. It is a bad law and I don't believe law enforcement has a right to just go taking guns without proof the person is dangerous to themselves or others. If the state is really worries about the person, than a welfare check would happen and crisis intervention should evaluate the subject. I don't think this is about the person though, I think the law makers made this about having an excuse to take weapons from homes. And then once people get used to it, they will take it a step further.

Everyone seen Maryland's new "Red Flag Law"? absolutely ridiculous and a violation of several constitutional rights. It has already gotten one man killed for just defending his civil liberties. And as a cop I usually back law enforcement decisions, but this law is so unconstitutional, idk how any officer could enforce it.

Guess it will be another thing to add to my wish list. lol.

Boot, you know what some shooters say. You should be spending as much on the optic as you did on the rifle. of coarse I have never once done this, but don't claim to have a good optic either. lol.

I don't see much benefit with 6.8 and it seems like people are kinda going away from it. to many differences from .223 with not enough benefits, if you ask me.
