  1. Carfentanil is originally an elephant sedative. The above picture shows how heroin or fentanyl it takes to equal a grain of carfentanil. BC is averaging 170 deaths/month but some how guns are a problem
  2. What he said...
  3. Tree wells can be your friend and provide shelter but has the potential to kill you, usually by suffocation. Tree wells can get quite deep and most people accidently falling in usually go in head first. Skiing, boarding, snowshoeing around trees beware of collapsing edges where you'll also bring down a mass of snow on you. On the plus side they make a great shelter if you are aware of them. Ideally come at it from the downhill side digging uphill but make sure the trench in has an L or T shape to stop/reduce the wind coming in. I've never had any luck at building an igloo it takes forever and pretty much looks like it was done by a drunk 3 legged pig 😲. A tree well shelter is pretty much a snow cave half built.
  4. Fentanyl is so yesterday...carfentanil is where it's at
  5. In this case the way flammable and inflammable are interchangeable so is immortal and immoral
  6. Welcome from BC
  7. Skookum as the kids up here say
  8. Spray stuff smelled so bad the only way to use it was outdoors with a bit of a breeze, it was hard to get even coverage. The 2 part wash is great, the first part washes ( regular detergents don't work for waterproof/breathable) the second part is added to wash afterward, don't need to wait for gear to dry).
  9. Were there is a will( and money to be made) there is a way. I can't find it right now but there I recall hearing that about 15% of fire arm seizures in Australia were 'local' manufacture. Here's a like to examples of the type of firearms being built https://homemadeguns.wordpress.com/tag/australia/
  10. Faint memories of watching him on TV in Zulu with my dad.
  11. Damn The bit with the air mattress was pretty impressive.
  12. Don't know about Gostwear, Big Bill is good stuff. My foul weather gear is a mix of Helly Hansen, Viking and Dakota(both Canadian) For waterproof breathable gear I got away from using the spray and having excellent results with Nikwax 2 part wash and treatment in the washing machine. The worst for me is working all day in rain just above freezing, it really test the waterproofing.
  13. This will not be a tempting target for hackers( sarcasm) not to mention simple human failure or greed will cause access to the information "Providers consolidate information in one place and risk becoming a single point of failure. This exposes users to harms associated with the possibility of stolen or compromised personal information."
  14. A true hero in that he could of used a deferment to stay out of the war. He found a way to serve his country and help fellow soldier while never compromising his own beliefs.
  15. I used to wear Carhartt pants but stopped 'cause the quality dropped but the price didn't, can't speak to the Artic bibs. I'm the same in if working in the cold stay in the cold. Crew here has the lunch room temp cranked and I don't think the back and forth is good. I have my own 'office' and keep it warm enough to not freeze and a temp that only requires remove outer layer.
  16. Welcome from BC
  17. Video unavailable here but will google C Company, 2d Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment. C/2/75. The rescue of Marcus Luttrell. for later
  18. Welcome from BC
  19. Well if you learn from it then that's the price of education as my dad would say.
  20. Yep can honestly say never heard of these guys. I find it interesting how each branch of the US military is pretty much a stand alone army on its own.
  21. I'd heard the name but no idea of his story, thanks.
  22. Hopefully he can sue for malicious prosecution or something along those lines.
  23. I like it
  24. FYI the company is located in Spring, TX 77379-7141 maybe they have a connection to the same Rhineland as your family? They do several 45ACP conversions including the Mauser. Why yes I am Unfortunately mine will sport a fake can. Finding a donner sporterized Lee-Enfield will be a bit more challenging as I don't want to chop up a good rifle. I have a friend on the east coast looking as a lot of post WW2 rifles ended up there and converted into hunting rifles.
