You had a different bolt in that rifle for a short time if I remember right. What does it look like. Send that puppy back to PSA. At least you will have a spare.
I thought you built the guns without gas tubes and gas blocks. I thought this would make removing fired cases out of the chamber easier. More to hold on to.
On another forum some people were installing the gas block upside down to block the port and not using a gas tube at all.
Even without the thumb safety installed the trigger will cause the hammer to fall without depressing the grip safety? Grip safety is not fit correctly. Trigger should not be able to move rearward without the grip safety being depressed. Fix that first.
Do you want little pieces of metal in the chamber, barrel, and action. What are those badly wearing lugs doing to the locking lugs of the barrel extension?
Order a different bolt. The hole the firing pin goes through is to big. Along with the hot ammo this is what probably is causing primer flow and punctures. They make bolts for the creadmore with smaller diameter firing pin to fix this problem.
Ok my barrel showed up got a question or two. Barrel extension has locating pin. Also another pin extending down by the locking lugs about 2 o'clock . Hole was drilled all the way through the barrel extension and pin inserted below the surface of the barrel extension on the outside but protruding in to the area of the locking lugs. I haven't seen this on any other barrels I have installed.
WTF???
