She had a Chinese spy for a driver and still got reelected. Someone can have McConnell if the want him. KY has no use for the dumb@ss.

Please hit the intro section then start your own thread about your rifle. Most folks drill the gas port out bigger after they figure out what size it needs to be.

Grains???? There's like 7000 grains to a pound. Hopefully you mean grams. If you have to take that much weight out of the buffer your gas port is too small.

Sabots. Not necking down. Unless I read it wrong.

Springco orange. The Armalite spring is made for a longer buffer tube.

MPI stands for magnetic partical inspected.
  8. shooterrex
    Sounds like fun.
  9. shooterrex
Glad you got it figured out.

Part of the problem is the rule is written so vaguely that a plain pistol buffer tube could be interpreted as making the pistol a SBR. I have read the almost 300 pages twice. Pretty much if it has a buffer tube on it and they decide it's a SBR it's a SBR.

Yep standard DPMS pattern parts should fit your rifle.

Your rifle is a Gen 1. There is no Gen 2. There is a G II that is a lot smaller frame 308. That didn't last long. Some of these triggers fit the large frame guns. Some don't. There is no "Milspec" on these guns.

Go online and try to order new chicks. Most delivery isn't till July-August. We just want a few more specific breeds. All these folks ordering don't realize it will be 6-8 months before there are any eggs produced.

It's all about reciprocating mass. The buffer and spring have to balance out the BCG and the gas driving it rearward. Not enough of any one thing and the gun doesn't run. Too much of any one thing and the gun doesn't run.

Do not email. CALL them. A phone call will probably get you the parts. This is from our experience w/Armalite.

I only recall one person ever getting that scs system to work. Maybe two people. Just doesn't seem to work well with the large frame guns.
  19. shooterrex
If the website says out of stock call them. They can usually hook you up.

If you would go back to the second post in this thread. I posted a link to a recoil system that works.

The Tupperware container for Velveeta cheese would be perfect.
  23. shooterrex
Glad you got it figured out.

Hmmm. Probably thinks you already know all that stuff. It was pretty general about what y'all do/did. Nothing real specific.
  25. shooterrex
Not many folks(if any) have got that scs stuff to work with the large frame guns. This recoil system works. https://www.armalite.com/SACItem.aspx?Item=AR10REKIT01&ReturnURL=/Armalite/Product-Category/AR10-Parts-Accessories&Category=4eeff98b-d9a6-40fd-be6b-ab2e44ec1080
