  1. Has Shepp done a pistol yet??? We built him the ultimate truck gun... but what about when he’s not in the truck!!!
  2. Robocop1051

    Lake erie

That video is old AF... and if you were in high school around that time, you are even older AF.
  3. That’s my hometown. My parents still live there. When I saw the title I thought for sure it was going to be one of my old friends in that picture.
  4. I have a Wilton vice. It’s a beast!!! I still need to make some deltin/polymer plates so I don’t mar up my work.
  5. That’s one of the new Centurion Arms handguards. Colt started using them on their rifles too. They appear to be pretty damn solid.
  6. Did you get my text?
  7. What sounds better than a magazine dump from your favorite AR? When it’s from a CR-7 rifle chambered in .338 Lapua Magnum!! Damned for not videoing this. It was pretty spectacular. $50 per magazine hurts though. Won’t be shooting like that much more often.
  8. You already have my contact info. Hit me up homie! Ps. When do we find out if it’s XX or XY?? I want to make sure “Rob Jr” makes it on the list.
  9. My $0.02 the ALG ACT far exceeds it’s quality for the price.
  10. Damn damn damn damn..... you know... if I do this... I’m going to make you throw in a Beachin water bottle holder, with an HK clip, so I can dangle it from my gear bag. Maybe in black and grey? Kryptek Typhon if you still have some? I don’t even need this stuff... I just want that DH mag (I was with you when you got it at SHOT, lol).
  11. what's the hang-up on using an o-ring? I use a plug/spring/oring in all my rifles. I don't reload and I shoot a lot of steel ammo
  12. Now let’s be mad at Blue for not snagging more for the rest of us.
  13. That barrel, delta ring, FSGB and charging handle need some FDE lovin'
  14. FWIW... Endor’s rebel troops approve of your camp pattern.
  15. I know Jacob has a bunch of Kryptek Highlander and Nomad. I think he has ATAC as well. I know he’s a fan of ATAC.
  16. Blue. If you can’t wait, you should check out something like the Grey Ghost “Minimalist” plate carrier. GG makes really good stuff, and lit looks like it was designed for exactly what you’re looking for.
  17. CROM isn't just about guns and ammo... As stated before, we have invested in an armor division, working on an all new type of personal plate body armor. Getting to Level III and III+ was almost effortless. We had the means and the product necessary to achieve that goal right off the bat. It was the Level IV that eluded us. Stopping a .30 caliber, steel core, military AP round seemed near impossible with the restrictions we placed on ourselves. It was absolutely astounding how much power is packed into the .30 cal AP round. The task at hand was to make a level IV plate armor that is thinner and lighter than the current competitive market. One of the biggest challenges we set upon was diverting away from the common use of Dyneema, which is a Chinese controlled product. We wanted to be 100% built in house with 100% American made products. Do you want to know what one of the most intoxicating feelings is? Shooting your Remington 700... Loaded with military AP ammunition... into a poly-composite plate... at only 50' away... and stopping that sumbitch dead in its tracks! What we achieved is.... a 12"x12" plate, only 0.59" in thickness, that weighs SEVEN freakin pounds! When this is cut to body armor sizes, it will weigh even less (depending on the cut and size). Half the weight of AR500 steel armor!!! 1/3 the thickness of polyethylene armor!!!! Soon to be NIJ certified as LEVEL IV and B7 armor.... YES! That's right! For those of you in the know... B7 is the vehicular armor rating to stop AP rounds. We are going to be able to produce a vehicle grade armor, at a personal body armor scale/level. Undercutting the price of every single competitor, without sacrificing any of the attributes... And in many cases, exponentially expanding on them. Stay tuned for more info to come. CROM is cutting a path into the industry that many were just too fearful to go.
  18. People are going to want to see it’s not old tarnished brass.
  19. For a competition grade build, that $100 could give you a 1% advantage over the next shooter. 1% isn’t much for $100, but it could be the difference between a “W” and a “L”.
  20. Fwiw. FMJ has been taking out the worlds greatest predators for decades. Don’t detract from its lethality. It does the job, and does it well, as long as the shooter does his/her job as well. That being said... I do love me some Hornady AMAX!!! I don’t care what caliber it comes in.
  21. I’d screw it on without the crush washer, then hit the 6 o’clock with a small bead weld. Fast and easy.
  22. Sooooooo tempted to grab that 13.7” AR-10 barrel now.
  23. LMT only puts out A++ quality, but they are not known for their “lightweight” selection either. No doubt that it is a top tier part. It looks really nice.
