  1. I don't doubt that, and I believe you - but put it against the shot-timer and put up the vids. Mine are over here, in this thread right now: I'll be back out there, especially now, getting "back in shape." Last summer, I was consistently pulling 0.11 and 0.12 seconds between shots. Those vids I just put up in there are after not shooting like that - at all - since last summer. I pulled alot of 0.16s and 0.15s, occasionally dipping down and hitting a 0.14 or so. 15 rds in 3.08 seconds, if I can keep it up, is 6.16 for 30. That's with mostly 0.15s and 0.16s. In practice, I should be able to get sub-6 seconds for 30 rounds. Just like your trigger. By the way - welcome aboard. <thumbsup>
  2. Another option is to drop the buttplate so it still sits low enough in the pocket of your shoulder. Handle that task via an adjustable buttplate. I went with the one from Sierra Precision, the SPR-1.
  3. About 2,400 rounds: http://www.defensereview.com/the-big-m4-myth-fouling-caused-by-the-direct-impingement-gas-system-makes-the-m4-unreliable/

    Coming Soon!

They can tweak the screen name change, too. Tell them to edit "display name." <thumbsup>
  5. Round with dented primer, didn't go off. Little bastard. :rant2:
  6. Here's the final vid -- trying to do 30 straight. Need more practice.
  7. I can give you upper O.A.L. of the 11.5" barrel with an A2. I'll measure it tonight. <thumbsup>
  8. Time for comedy. Remember, when you go to the range, you can't fire any ammo unless you close your bolt carrier. Apparently, I left that bit of information at home on Sunday... Here is The Trigger Thief... :wtf: is THIS stuff?!!?
  9. US Navy nomenclature - they developed it, along with NSWC Crane. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Close_Quarters_Battle_Receiver
  10. Here's a string with group of 4, 4, 2. Split times consistently coming down. Haven't shot against the timer since last summer, with regularity. I used to get out 4 times a week, for 3 or 4 full mags. Shoot 90 or 120 before work in the mornings. Need to start doing that, because the times are creeping up without practice. They come back down quickly, but only to a certain point. Anyway, here it is:
  11. DD Mk18. The other two companies don't have anything that they provide to SOCOM. Since it's chosen, and works for SOCOM, I think you should put your stock in that company. It won't let down the guys that really need it, so it shouldn't let you down in your line of work. My $0.02.
  12. I wouldn't carry anything that didn't start with ".4-something" - I'm just sayin'... <dontknow>
  13. Yep, she's pretty good. <thumbsup> I... Well, I just got nervous, closed my eyes and started jerking the trigger. By the way guys - I LOVE my new verbage above my avatar - EXCELLENT!!! <lmao> More vids uploading now...
  14. PACT Club Timer II. Looks like they've got the III-version out now, and it looks almost the same. Should be able to find the II for about $130.
  15. Here's two groups of 4 rounds, on the timer. My 14.5" 5.56 rifle, ARF billet lower and S3G trig. This thing is fast. Ended up with first round at 1.07, #2 was 0.16 split time, 3rd with 0.13 split, 4th with 0.15 split. Break for 2nd group was 1.56 seconds on round #5, #6 was 0.16 split, #7 was 0.15 split, and #8 was 0.14 split. Total time for all 8 was 3.52 seconds. Shot timer vid still uploading. I'll edit and add it into this post once it's up. EDIT - Split times added:
  16. They keep all that fluffy stuff up in Flagstaff, and don't share it with us... <lmao>
  17. Vids - more uploading, including "The Trigger Thief..." <lmao>
  18. Instigator...
  19. Had a right inguinal hernia in Jan '99 - skiing issue, as a Ski Patroller, with a fat guy in my sled. It wasn't until Aug '99 that I got it fixed. I was down for 3 weeks, and couldn't get off the couch during the first week. Once I was down, that's where I stayed. I have no idea how women have c-sections, and head home like everything is normal. Eff that. I got doped up, and I swear the last thing I saw was the Doc standing over me like the guy standing over Mel Gibson in Braveheart, right before he yelled "FREEEEEEEEDOM!!!"
  20. Yep. I'd bet on that belt. Didn't we replace that a couple years ago? Maybe that was on Levi's rig - I get confused with all the Camp Beer, and festivities... :ecs: Shepp, you'd LOVE it out there - even on a Farm Quad... <lmao>
  21. Prob the Blaster, man - 2-stroke 200, and they'd SCOOT!
  22. Same thing noticed on mine - but it eats recoil like nobody's business. They shoot SOOOOOO smooth.
  23. But... :'( That's half the camp fun, right there. Just add beer, and it's on... :-[
  24. With all this talk of trigger speed and rate of fire, I put the S3G out in the dirt pile today. 15 rds in 3.08 seconds, 17 rds in 3.39 seconds, misfire on #18 caused an 8 second gap... total was 29 rds in 18.77 seconds, with that 8 second gap in there, and another 3 second gap for an "ah $hit" issue. Most split times between shots were 0.14~0.16 seconds. Vid is on the way to going up, with shot timer info included, so I'll link that thing in here when it's done. I can't do a whole 30-rd mag straight through, right now. I'll practice on it, and see what I can get. I'll bet with some more practice, I can pull a 30-rounder in 6 or 7 seconds. That's not as good as a 30-caliber-clip in half a second, but I'll work on it, and make DeLeon proud. <lmao> The S3G is going to be faster than any of these other triggers. I'm just sayin'.
  25. I love that 250R, brother. Love it. I burned up that one piston on the stock cylinder with lean jetting, but after going to that 310 setup and a FAT main jet, it's right where it needs to be. That thing is the perfect dune machine for me. Dan and I learned a valuable lesson this year in the sand, too - when you tell us not to clean your carb, just do it anyway... <lmao> Worked like a champ on Dusty's bike. We'll feed you a few beers, distract you with something, and steal your carb. In March, your carb is coming out. I'm just sayin'... <thumbsup>
