  1. Jon, you gonna rock a 26" barrel on your SPX?... Eff that, man.
  2. I brought pins for you last weekend - but brought .308 pins. I have a GRIP of pins with me now, so we'll swap in a set tomorrow at the range.
  3. SSA-E and Hi-Speed series are different - the SSA-E is not adjustable (at the user level). All the triggers in the Hi-Speed series (Match, Service, Designated Marksman) are adjustable by the purchaser, and include the tools to adjust them. I recently purchased the Hi-Speed DMR, but don't have alot of time on it yet. I can say for sure, it's badass, even moreso over the SSA-E. <thumbsup>
  4. First, that's no rifle receiver extension, at all. It's a carbine extension, and it's not an Armalite .308 AR-10 carbine extension - those have an internal depth of 7 5/8", and they run buffers that are the exact same length as a carbine buffer from an AR15 - hence, the different internal depth. AR15 carbine receiver extensions are standard, at 7" internal depth. We run those, most of the time, on DPMS-based .308 ARs, with short buffers - which you have, at 2.5" long. You have the right buffer. You appear to have the right receiver extension - but you need to measure it's internal depth to be certain. You can save some time on the cutting of threads or filing the end of the extension, by making that measurement first. That way, you'll know what the problem is, and how much you need to take of. <thumbsup> EDIT - If my math works right, your buffer might be 1/8" too short...
  5. Casa Grande!!! I got into the hotel a couple hours ago, and Dirk just showed up a little while ago. Everything secured, and we're ready for tomorrow!!! WooHoo!!! :2nd:
  6. VERA!!! :love4: <laughs>

    Finally!

Sheeeeit - you got it!!! <thumbsup>
  8. I need that as a job...
  9. That's right, brother!
  10. Gun list: AR45 Rem 700 AAC SD Ruger GSR Moss MVP .308AR (gotta go, on this trip, I'm just sayin'...) 5.56 rifle, 14.5", with the S3G trigger - fastest gun I've got, and I'm bringing the shot timer... Springfield .45s for pistols. Dos.
  11. We need video proof... <laughs> <lmao>

    Finally!

Taper, taper, taper, Matt - hit that angle right, so the OPS can lines up concentrically. <thumbsup>
  13. Looks like that scope passed the box test with flying colors. Good shootin', man! That woodchuck took an assbeatin', too. Nice. <thumbsup>
  14. I love me some PRI rails. Excellent job, brother. <thumbsup> <thumbsup>
  15. Yep, they'd have to be light bullets, in the 110gr range. My 16" 300BLK barrel is a 1:8 twist.
  16. I think the only day Larry can make it, with Josh, is on Wednesday. Dirk is driving over from SD for a Wednesday shoot. That's what I've got planned - working Thurs~Sun back in Phx. <thumbsup>
  17. I'm bringin' the 930 SPX, that's for damn sure. <thumbsup>

    Sorry Bro

I have ZERO doubt about that... <dontknow> <laughs>
  19. Tactical Tailor 3-point sling, for your setup. No Sheit. Not a bit. You'll thank me later.
  20. That's an A2-length screw, that was shoved through the back of an A1-length system, by the buffer. That's exactly what that is. The difference between the two is 5/8", and that's what I'm seeing shoved out the back of that buttstock. Check the bumper on the end of your buffer - it has a hole in it. Dead center.
  21. I'm an Appleseed Instructor - I highly, highly suggest hitting an Appleseed shoot, very first. You will learn more about your rifle than you want to know - even when it can't do what you want it to do. You will learn a hell of a lot about history, and that's the intent of the program. <thumbsup> http://www.appleseedinfo.org/ Rip it up, brother.
  22. Getting back to this late, but... That's not drop, with a 200 zero - that's RISE. That's why it doesn't seem like much. With a 200 zero, your bullet is RISING through 100, and hitting 200. It's dropping after that, down to 300, 400, 500, etc...
  23. Understood. However, Fire + Beer + Friends = sheit like this, and it's a damn HOOT! :hethan: <laughs> <lmao>
  24. Caveat - in your current profession... you'd have little use for it. It would still work wonders, if you were clearing your house or property. Or killing piggies, or hunting, etc. It hasn't been eclipsed by technology, by any means, and it still a very, very effective tool. <thumbsup>
