  1. Got that covered, brother - it's getting sprayed tomorrow morning. <thumbsup>
  2. They just completely skipped Mk III, then. <laughs>
  3. This was set into motion years and years ago, and it's not the complete fault of the .gov. It starts with parents-that-aren't-parents. POS adults that don't raise their fuckin' kids, yet expect the public school system and others to raise them. Or, expect the XBox to raise them - and it has. This problem has been going on for decades, brother. It all goes back to weak parents, and nothing more. Someone was "offended" when their punkass kid got cracks in the Principal's Office - filed a lawsuit, and that poop stopped, etc. The bitch that sued McDonald's when she spilled hot coffee on herself. People that sue for no other reason than just to sue - the attorney will ALWAYS be there for that poop. In this country, anymore, it's never someone's fault - it's always someone else's fault. As soon as we forgot about personal responsibility, and being accountable for your own actions - and more than that, having the balls to say something was your fault, only your fault, and you ARE responsible for your own actions... that's when things really started going to poop. That started happening around the mid-80s. Parents that had kids in the mid-80s were the lazy motherfuckers that didn't raise their kids, too. Not all, but alot. Alot more than this country can handle. Those are "my peers." We're fucked, as a country, unless we start seeing real leaders that will accept the responsibility, and it hasn't happened overnight. We're a$$hole-deep into three decades now. :soap:
  4. I've already been after it, for about an hour. ;D All the parts in the pic above are getting ripped up. <thumbsup>
  5. ^^^ That's how it should be. I commend the MO politicians on that move, and I see many, many more states following this type of action. The King will have no choice but to see that his orders are, what they are - bullpoopy. The other shoe has dropped in NY, as well as CT. VT surprised me. MA is next. CA can't be far behind, as well as NJ (with or without Fat Christie). Washington State will climb onto the poop-pile sooner or later. My thoughts. They're happening. <dontknow>
  6. I had a feeling something like this would happen - there's too much of a disconnect in the 2A community, and not enough planning. "Jump through your ass" last minute stuff, on a whim. Something needs to be planned, announced, and advertised in order to have any kind of a turnout. Otherwise, it's a damn waste of time. Hate to sound like an ass, but it's true. "Let's meet here, tomorrow," just doesn't fucking work. The 8 Feb meeting date that's been announced - that's a damn Friday. How many 2A supporters work on Fridays?... What kind of turnout can you possibly expect?... That's the kind of poop I'm talking about. Collectively, we need to get our poop together.
  7. I wonder what some people would think - going after a $300 rail with 400 grit sandpaper... <laughs>
  8. Prepping the parts tonight, for paint tomorrow.
  9. If they had the GSR there, then jump on it, brother! <dontknow>
  10. I think there would be a hell of alot of Colonels and Generals telling The King to go fcuk himself. Did you guys know that one Admiral and one General were relieved over Benghazi? General Carter Ham, and Rear Admiral Charles Baouette. The newest spin is that Banghazi wasn't the reason. The General had the ground force necessary, and the Admiral had the capability to get the ground force there. They launched the rescue mission, after being told to stand down. I don't think we need to worry about the military coming after us. Not in the least.
  11. 6mm isn't a standardized NATO cartridge. Simply based on that, the .mil will never use it, unless it's NATO approved. Specialized units are another story altogether.
  12. Rene, I just noticed your sig line - Awesome, brother! <thumbsup>
  13. She's quite the squirrel slayer - you don't talk about that much. You should let the rest of the guys know about that... <thumbsup>
  14. Hell Yeah! <thumbsup> Honestly, I didn't expect that kind of response from anyone in Cali, but then again, it's a County Sheriff, and not a straight-politician. I'm curious to see what the granola-crunching politicians come up with... <dontknow>
  15. It'll make the fourth magazine-fed bolt gun I've got... ;D <thumbsup>
  16. Fuckin' EXCELLENT letter. I certainly hope The King is starting to understand the Big Picture.
  17. Placed the order with RifleGear on the 11 Jan. I've dealt with them in the past on several things, but I've never purchased a lower or firearm from them, so I immediately sent them an email with my local FFL File Copy attached. I called them yesterday, not for an order status, but just to make sure the email came through with the FFL info. It did. Right now, on their status page, they say DON'T CALL US. Send emails. Well, I called anyway... <dontknow> The guy I talked to was very, very cool, and actually just started working there not long ago. AND, he's from Tempe, AZ. <thumbsup> <laughs> I ended up on the phone with him for 45 minutes... <lmao> At any rate, I was professional enough not to even mention the status of the rifle, or when it would ship - from what he was saying, they're slammed just like the rest of the industry right now. The status page on the website says that it will be 2 weeks from date of order before in stock items ship, so I've got another week to go, based on that. Another 1 or 2 days in transit to the FFL. The day it hits my FFL, I'll break out of work and pick it up. Then I'll go up the road, to the canyon, and put a SureFire 60rd mag through it... ;D
  18. Centermass is great, but it's only permanently effective if you make a CNS hit. Nothing else in the centermass zone will drop them, but it'll damn sure slow them down and make them think about it. Different games...
  19. SHOT Show 2013 is going on right now, also - something to keep in mind when trying to contact companies at this current time.
  20. Good stuff - goes with my dedicated CNC files. <thumbsup>
  21. PINK mags came in today. <thumbsup> Pure quality, nice paint, MagPul followers.
  22. Not long ago, right here on this board, this topic came up. IIRC, the topic was open carry makes you a target. I stand against that opinion, and think it make you an anti-target. I open carry very often. Basically, whenever I'm not working - at work, it's concealed. I open carry all over town, too. Sometimes I get looks, most times I don't. Sometimes I get comments from people, and my favorite response is: "If you don't exercise your Second Amendment rights, you will lose them."
  23. I like how you threw the names of your two rifles in there... <laughs> <thumbsup> Good writeup, brother.
  24. These assholes completely lost all my respect with their actions, but they just won't stop now. Plastic Beta C mag, $699: http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/MAG-056?utm_source=EmailDirect.com&utm_medium=Email&utm_campaign=Magazines+-+1%2f15+Campaign They had a geniune Colt 30rd AR mag, $129... If this poop calms down, and some sort of "normalcy" returns, I sure hope people remember this, down the road.
  25. Not in a circumstance like that, which was evidenced by closed-circuit video...
