  1. Damn, they even come in the "blonde" flavor, too!!! <thumbsup>
  2. Poor child was used as an Improvised Kicking Device, and now she's scarred for life... <laughs> <lmao>
  3. FDE has that affect on people. That's also why deer, rabbits, squirrels and coyotes wear it so much... <lmao> <laughs>
  4. When we meeting for breakfast again, brother?
  5. That's a damn nice buck. Excellent! <thumbsup>
  6. That's the same cautionary lead-time statement that they've had posted for over two years now. It's been altered slightly, to reflect the latest election and political climate, but the timelines posted are still the same. Basically, this isn't a new thing from RRA. That's been their stance for a couple years.
  7. That would definitely be it. Good find, Drew. <thumbsup> Now, I don't have to keep searching tomorrow, from work... :o <laughs>
  8. THERE you go, brother!!!! It never, ever is a bad thing to paint something like dirt. I LOVE it!!! <thumbsup> :happydrunks:
  9. They posted this pic as a "hint." Looks like a rail system to me. Dunno. <dontknow> Could be a monolithic-type upper setup, too.
  10. Just to reiterate, in ss's situation here, it was a mechanical-wear issue - mechanical failure... <thumbsup>
  11. <lmao> <laughs>
  12. Hmmm... hard to tell, brother. Is there any talk of it anywhere else? Maybe in their Industry Section over on arfcom?
  13. Very fortunate situation, ss. Very. Firearms safety always pays off, as it did this time, too. I can't imagine how much damage the SST slug could do to a human leg, man - damn glad that it went the way it did. <thumbsup>

Drew, how did micro and I come out in all this? Unscathed, I'm certain... <lmao> <laughs>
  15. 12.75 lbs empty. Add exactly one more pound for a Pmag loaded with 20 168gr bullets.

Pure coincidence, Drew. That's all it is... <thumbsup> <laughs>

Eberlestock M11 chassis for Rem 700 SA or LA. I'm diggin' it. <thumbsup> Introducing the Eberlestock Model 11 Stealth Rifle Chassis system. This premium, state-of-the-art rifle stock is designed to get maximum performance out of both rifle and marksman. It takes full advantage of modern engineering, design, and manufacturing technologies, resulting in a level of precision that nears perfection. We believe that the rifle stock is one of the most important components of a firearm. A stock with the right geometry, the right ergonomics, and precisely made parts in the right places, combined with a good quality commercial-off-the-shelf rifle, can give exceptional performance. Given the level of quality and reliability that are found in the rifles produced by today's firearms industry, you don't need to spend thousands of dollars on a custom rig in order to obtain a highly accurate precision rifle. Our test rifles are all over-the-counter guns, and when shot with factory loads out of the Stealth Chassis they all shoot half-minute groups. We don't attribute all of this performance to the Stealth Chassis system, but we certainly have taken a good measure of error out of the equation. So, now you have the four main components of an accurate firearm readily available to you: quality commercial rifles, premium optics, excellent factory load ammunition, linked to the marksman with the fourth component, the Stealth Chassis. We believe that the M11 provides you with the perfect man-to-machine interface. And of course, it needn't be said that this chassis is also meant to bring a custom rifle up to its full level of capability. We make no apology that this chassis is not for everyone. Simply put, it is what it was meant to be; it is simple yet sophisticated. Cut out of billets of aluminum, we achieve great accuracy through a considerable amount of time spent by each and every part on state-of-the-art milling machines, cut to exacting tolerances. Materials and components are appropriately chosen for their role in the overall structure, and all aluminum parts are finished in hard anodized field colors. So we invite you to compare this to a fine sports car, or to a high-end optic. Study the number of parts and their level of refinement, and you will see that the Stealth is offered at a fair price and provides a good value. Our focus is on simplicity, reliability, and accuracy, with just the right features to give you a versatile platform and an excellent interface with your rifle. Eberlestock has been at work on this project since the early 2000's, when we developed one of the industry's first modular chassis systems. We now think that its time has come. [img width=810 height=228]http://www.eberlestock.com/M11SSB-rev%20sm.jpg Obviously, I couldn't deal with that one unless I painted it. I'd go with this: [img width=810 height=212]http://www.eberlestock.com/M11SPE%20sm.jpg
  18. That thing is so nice - after shooting edgecrusher's OBR last Oct, I've been eyeballing the PredatOBR pretty damn hard. One day. :'(
  19. That's one hell of a deal on the 5.56 20" stainless match barrel. Wow! <thumbsup>
  20. Makes perfect sense, man. <thumbsup>
  21. Don't do it. Based on your admissions, the LMOS ain't worth it. Don't waste the coin. Lightweight carrier, suppressor, hot loads, etc. Blow that thing up and run it through the wall!!! <dontknow> My question is this - how do you run a hot load, on a suppressed rifle? Is the load subsonic, or not?
  22. With some SlideFire, those Betas would disappear MUCH quicklier. Yes - quick-lier. Like, faster... <lmao> SlideFire action, with many, many thanks to Mike. <thumbsup> :ecs:
  23. I've started a sickness. "Aversion," "Affliction," "Addiction..." Call it what you want - it's not my fault. :cookoo:
  24. Damn, Jon, your aversion to pictures has been called out. That's just from my perspective on all this. <dontknow> <munch> I know you know how to use firearms, brother. I can teach you some basic camera skills, whenever. <thumbsup> I'm just sayin'...
  25. Dumped a few 200-rd belts, in my time (and more). Those are fun, unless it's serious when you do it. <dontknow> ;D He needs more SlideFire, doesn't he, Mike?... <laughs>
