  1. We're WAAAAAAAY beyond that stuff with this one... <dontknow> Matt, you have a PM.
  2. That trigger - depending on what/how you shoot - is worth the Kool-Aid. <thumbsup>
  3. I see a whole bunch of this, in this thread... :leghump: She hasn't been back since her first post, guys... relax a little... <laughs> <lmao> Maybe she'll be back? <dontknow> Maybe she's reading all the responses - wait, no she's not - she hasn't been back on the board since her first post. <dontknow> It'll work out... <thumbsup>
  4. Exactly - makes no sense. If it functions - now - in rifle-stock config, then it should have functioned fine in collapsible-stock config. If it DOES function now, way better than the way it was, then the parts they ship for the collapsible-stock config are radically **wrong** <<< I have much better words for it than that...

    Stuck Brass

Next time you take it out, get a pic of the jam, what it looks like with the brass, and the chamber. Post that up when you get it. That'll help. <thumbsup> On an empty chamber, no mag, bolt forward, and ejection port cover closed - by cycling the charging handle back, does the carrier knock the port door open? It should have to move but an 1/8" or 3/16" or so to open it up.
  6. Great price on that MRF-308 rail. Awesome. <thumbsup>

    RRA Trigger

Pics of one of the triggers, man. C'mon... we'll have to break out the signs if you don't... :wwop:
  8. I've fully given one of the owners the BRD, pretty bad - I might be able to make something work here, if I focus on that angle... Dude has NEVER shot any full-auto anything before. Stay tuned. ;D <thumbsup>
  9. Uh oh... ;D I just found a niche in your armor, brother... <laughs> <lmao>
  10. That is FAST!!! :o <thumbsup>
  11. Jon, look at the PRI parts. Nothing but top quality, all the way around. <thumbsup> I can get this for as low as $62.10, and there's a July 4th sale until the 6th of July (10% off). I don't know if my discount will trump the sale, but it's worth a shot. That price is for the 0.750" adjustable block. Lemme know what you can find it for, and if I can get it cheaper I'll grab it up and bring it up to you sometime. <thumbsup>
  12. New ones or old ones? They come with the front strap that has the integrated trigger guard?
  13. Jon, I don't know how this happened, but I have to work on Wednesday... >:( I can't even believe we're open, but we are... :cookoo: :sad3: :rant2:
  14. Love it, brother, love it! I love the disclaimer in there... "WARNING! Use of our products may cause... ...Explosive Beard Growth" <thumbsup> <laughs> <lmao>
  15. <laughs> <lmao>
  16. I inletted my own - it's really not that hard to do. <thumbsup> Toughest part on mine was the rear pillar. It need to be 1.07" from bottom to mounting point on the receiver, and as it was stock, it was 1.27". Pulling out that extra 0.20" and leveling the mounting surface there was the most time-consuming part of the whole affair. Widening the mag body location in the stock wasn't tough at all.
  17. I've gotta justify it to myself somehow... When I tell myself it's for "testing, to help others" it hurts alot less than "I need a BOX of these mags NOW!"... <laughs> <lmao> As far as Ruger's GSR polymer mag - Ruger made it to fit their rifle, as a cheaper alternative than buying the Accurate Mag that ships with their rifle. I understand it, and I'm glad they did it. I have one Accurate Mag (for now, anyway), and I picked up 3 Ruger polymer mags. I spent $120 on those 3 mags, but I would have spent $240 on 3 Accurate Mags. It would have been a bonus if the Ruger polys fit this conversion, but there's no reason that Ruger should change the design of it just to fit other systems - it's not designed for other systems. <dontknow>
  18. <lmao> <laughs> Just this thread, is worth the cost of the gun... <lmao> <thumbsup>
  19. poop, man, I thought you were a Door Gunner on the Space Shuttle... <dontknow> ;D
  20. That little wink you threw out there mean you condone this type of activity, Matt?...
  21. The Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle (GSR) stock magazine... The Ruger GSR ships with the steel Accurate Mag, 10-round magazine. Ruger GSR owners know this as the "ELEVEN-ROUND magazine..." It really does hold eleven .308 Win rounds. As a quick check on my GSR, when I got it, I loaded 10 in the mag, put one more in the chamber, and closed the mag on the catch. Never thought to go more... ;D On this conversion, I've loaded eleven in the mag, loaded the chamber, and closed the mag (without any force) into the magwell. That's 12. In a .308 bolt gun. <thumbsup> I don't think there's any difference in the "regular" Accurate Mag 10-rounders and with what Ruger ships - not confirmed, though. I'll order another 10-rounder from Accurate Mag just to find out. At any rate, as it stands now, the Ruger "stock GSR" 10-round Accurate Mag will let you hold 12 x .308 Win rounds in a Rem 700 with Roger's DBM setup, eleven in the mag and one in the chamber, mag closing easily. <thumbsup> Empty mag in rifle: One full box of Federal 180gr softpoints, ready to go: 10 in there: 11th one in there, in the stock Ruger GSR "11-rd mag:" Mag loaded with 11, and 12th one in the chamber: Bolt locked on #12, 11-rd mag seated and locked, easily: All rounds cycled and ejected: Couldn't be happier. <thumbsup> <laughs>
  22. These "Range Items" will be mandatory for shooting this rifle... <thumbsup> I will most definitely provide said items... <thumbsup>
  23. I know for a fact that there's one certain member of this board that's thinking "Aaaaaahhh poop!" right now - and he's reading this topic right now... <lmao> <laughs> (I saw you in here, Rob... :o ;D)
  24. There's some really BRIGHT PINK stuff on the way - not the average parts that everyone sees. Honestly, the stuff is nice enough that I'm thinking of going out to the local competitions and shooting it - just so some people get beat "by the guy with the PINK GUN..." <lmao> <laughs> A Geissele S3G trigger is probably in order here. This is gonna be a sweet - but pink - build... ;D
