I literally laugh about this every single morning ttat I wake up.... "He's FUCKED!"...
-
^^^ Nothing more than Sacha Baron Cohen starting shiit, talking shiit, and creating the shiitstorm that he does. Funny, but not funny, with all the BS that's going on in this country right now. He's a fucking idiot. Ari Shaffir The Amazing Racist is way funnier than this fucker is. This guy is just a self-promoting fuktard. Get some Ari:

If I had a fireplace in my house - I'd ROCK that!...

That's a 1" tube diameter on that scope, and I put it in a Nikon M-308 1" mount, that has 20MOA built into it. With that mount and scope combo, I have a 100-yard zero, and can DIAL the scope on that gun to hit my 850 yard target. The 20MOA mount is the key in that. Here's the mount, which doesn't seem to be around any longer, either - find one... https://www.nikonsportoptics.com/en/nikon-products/product-archive/mounts/m-308-mount-(20-moa).html Here's one in stock at Sportsman's Warehouse, right now: https://www.sportsmans.com/camping-gear-supplies/optics-accessories/scopes/scope-rings-bases/nikon-m-308-scope-mount-wrings-20moa/p/1406950

My recommendation - and you better act fast - is the Leupold 1.5~4 Mark AR Mod 1 Firedot-G / Firedot SPR reticle scope. Leup discontinued it, and that makes ZERO SENSE to me. Firedot-G is the green dot, with SPR reticle (mil-dots). FIredot SPR is a red dot, Mil-dots. Go Firedot-G if you can. Vendors have that little 9oz bastard, and they're still out there. I recommend that because #1 it's 9oz. #2, it's badass glass - optical clarity is exceptional. #3, it's the perfect magnification for a real "hunting scope" on a short gun. #4 - that green dot in the middle is a life saver. The illum in it is a "constant-on" but it's a "shake-awake" setup. It shuts after time, with no movement, but as soon as you move the gun/scope, it's back on, to the last preset brightness that you had it at. Green dots in early daylight and later twilight fuckin' rock. They blow away red dots. Find that thing somewhere. Here's the model number for that 9oz scope: 115387 SWFA has them right now, and I'm thinking about getting another one, because Leup doesn't make them anymore. They're badass on a 12.5" Grendel. https://www.swfa.com/leupold-15-4x20-mark-ar-mod-1-riflescope-106667.html

Welcome aboard, man - and just so you know... I'm just a dumbass with too much time on my hands. Very, Very Happily Divorced, by the way... so I have the time I want...

We've been hangin' in there, but the fantasies about "what happen to JF89?..." have been some pretty crazy talk...
-
Just go to the 88gr ELD-Ms, brother. Those little fuckers are gettin' it done. I was impressed. Yeah, it fuckin' sucked, that's a massive wind hold for a 5.56 round at that distance... I'd nail it, then the gust "wouldn't gust" and I'd miss the next one. Or connect with two - third one off. FML.

I don't know about scotch, but there's a limited edition Crown Royal, Salted Caramel Whiskey - and IT. IS. BADASS. !!!. Look for the box - it's in the box...

I'm down. I'll bring the 5-gal jugs and the thick towels...

Big issues here - I didn't see you mention where this was a PSA, before this post I'm quoting here - but that explains everything. 7.75" internal depth is too much, so they still haven't figured that out. Internal depth, when running a 3.250" buffer, needs to be 7 5/8. You're at 7 6/8", comparing fractions and all. That's 0.125" too deep. Quarters are 0.069" thou thick, so that thing is gonna need two quarters down the extension before the spring and buffer go in there. Sounds backyard-tech, but it works, and it makes the gun work as designed. Next: H Buffer = 3.8oz. Not enough Ass to control the Mass - a 3.8oz buffer isn't gonna control that heavy .308-based BCG. Hell, we went to an H buffer in the M4A1 Carbine as the "reliability upgrade" to get the thing to run properly on full-auto. It's not enough for a .308-based BCG, never will be unless you're building some tricked-out Race Gun. You need an H3 buffer (5.4oz). This setup runs AR15 Carbine buffers (actually, AR15 Carbines run AR-10 Carbine buffers...). Any AR15 Carbine H3 buffer that's properly made is what you're after. Spring - don't trust what was shipped in that rifle, it's jacked. You need the genuine (not a copy) Armalite EA1095 spring. ^^^ That list above will straighten out the recoil system, completely, forever. Punch that gas port diameter up, and that thing will run like a sewing machine. I think above I told you that you needed 0.080"~0.085" on that barrel - that's my numbers for an 18" midlength PSA barrel - and all other 18" midlength .308/Creed/.260 barrels. That will work on a 20" rifle gas barrel, even though the 20" rifle gas barrel has different dwell time. Don't be surprised if you need 0.090", though. My 20" rifle gas .260 Rem gun is 0.081", after being punched up from a shipped-port diameter of 0.070".
-
Gas port diameter on that should be 0.080"~0.085", for that round, and that barrel config. I'm betting it's around 0.070" right now - it's not overgassed - it doesn't have enough gas. Get that gas block off there and lemme know what that gas port diameter is. If you get a chance, check out all the recoil system parts, and post up what it's got. Recoil system and gas system have to be balanced, or that thing won't run. Not locking the bolt back on an empty mag points me to gas, first. If gas is good, we go to recoil.

Didn't come up for me, either, when I tried the link you posted. Connection timed out, and it didn't get me there. https://www.turners.com/ ^^^ I typed (no quotes) "turners outdoorsman" into Google, hit the first link - which is above - and it took me straight to the site.

That's one damn sweet setup, brother- I was liking that, ALOT.

Very successful day today with the NEXUS ammo - I ran .308 Win 168gr Match, .223 Rem 77gr Match (to 850 yards), and .260 Rem 139gr Lapua Scenar Match. I'll get a good report up tomorrow, but I'm smoked tonight. Ran that damn .224 Valkyrie again today, too, with some 75gr Federal. It works, but I don't like 75gr for that gun. On the 88gr Hornady Match, I'm 8.1 mils at 850 yards. On this stuff, I'm 10.0 mils at 850 yards. It's only slightly better than just running a 5.56 gun to 850 yards with my 75gr Hornady HPBT handloads. 8.9 to 14.3 mph varying direct crosswind today. That sucked. The only thing that would have made it better was if the winds were even higher... "This SUCKS!!! I just wish it would SUCK MORE!!!..." Winds from the south, shooting due west - full value wind from left to right. I had to hold 5 3/4 mils of wind to get the 5.56 stuff on steel. Fuk me. Oh, did I mention that I was running a 5.56 gun to 850 yards today?... I know some people think that can't be done, but it definitely can... The Mk12 Mod 1 is a fuckin' BEAST!

They fuckin' CRUSH IT, brother. The one thing I absolutely love about them in concert - it sounds exactly like an album recording. They're badass, live.
-
This happens often, and it happened again - he's in my favorites playlist, so they just keep coming up, one after the other. I stumbled, tripped, then fell right down the Aaron Lewis rabbit hole once again. Pay attention to the hat he's wearing in this one.
-
I'm on a roll now, here's another favorite... I have four of them, from my Grandfather, given to me by his own hand. 6 months later, he was gone... This one is special...
-
Old M-Vids show, hosted by Kimberly Caldwell, 2004~2006. Read the comments below the vid on this one first, then watch it... Aaron Lewis does concerts like this all the time - he's always on tour - just him, and a guitar. He crushes it. One guy and his guitar. Here was the original production Staind version of that song:
-
One of his most powerful songs ever, as a Staind song. Saw this one live, it's the close to his show. Pretty damn great.
-
Litte bit of Aaron Lewis. Never, ever made a bad song, just a badass. Doesn't matter if it's out on his own, or with Staind.
-
That was pretty epically - badass. That gives me a list of things to do in walmart, since they're on my permanent shiit-list now...
-
They would probably direct-swap you out, no questions asked - and not even want the old ones back. I kid you not. That's how badass their Customer Service is. It's definitely worth a call.
