  1. It has a 6 hold at what distance? With the front sight white dot disappearing - what are you focusing on when you shoot? It should be front sight, front sight, front sight... Everything else (rear sights, target) shouldn't quite be in focus. You might be focusing on the wrong thing here. <dontknow>
  2. Water test the cases. It should be slightly less.
  3. Schit, don't worry about that - it's what compressed charges are for.
  4. And you're doing a kickass job, my brother! :))
  5. A2 vented screw is 5/8" longer than the A1 vented screw. Could be that, but if he's using the 5/8" spacer that goes on the receiver extension, then that won't be it. Pics...
  6. I've been reading Doc Roberts work for years and years, Fark.
  7. I didn't get a fucking thing in the mail today. Nada, Zilch, Zip. Nothing... :rant2:
  8. Level III stops, up to this: Level IV stops, up to this: Farkle, what .223 round can make it through those plates that THOSE rounds can't make it through? What ammo do you have access to - in .223 - that can defeat those armor level ratings, when those stated rounds can't make it through them? Your schit made of Kryptonite or something? Unobtanium? Unicorn Schit? What? Calling bullschit on your comment.
  9. I've got AR500 steel targets that I'm going to test this against. I've got SCADS is M193 to use on it. SCHIT TONS of it.
  10. Me too... Why you need that?...
  11. You candyasses need to shoot my 45-70. After you think you've got that thing solved, you need to get behind beachmaster's father's 500 S&W Magnum. That schit will give you a recoil-taming like you've never seen... You'll think .308 Win is like shooting .22LR... <lmao>
  12. Big, manly, gorilla hands. Upper receiver vice blocks not necessary. GRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! <lmao>
  13. Damnit!!! <laughs>
  14. I'm gonna tell her you said that... <lmao> <laughs>
  15. 800 yards? Sorry. Too early? <lmao>
  16. A question like this is just a big, giant, mongosso clusterfuck of a question. Massive. HUGE. The reticle that is best for you is the reticle that you understand the best, and you can manipulate the best. This isn't a question for others - it's what you understand and feel comfortable with, and can manipulate for your shooting style. You only have about a thousand choices in reticles, so find what you like, and run with it.
  17. The Blackhawk is a bad motherfucker. I vouch for that aircraft any day of the week. <thumbsup> This is the one that you want to be on - it's a little bit different than the rest of them...
  18. There is a certain "connection" there - and BroMance... <lmao>
  19. ^^^ I personally endorse that statement.
  20. Overall length won't matter one bit - not even if it's 25" long. For it to run the AR10 Carbine buffers - and any other AR15 buffer - it needs to have an internal depth of 7 5/8", or very damn close to that. The standard AR15 Carbine receiver extension has the internal depth of 7", or very damn close to that.
  21. Here's another good resource on that the different level ratings are, and what each level is tested (tested to stop, at that level): http://internationalbodyarmor.com/ballistic-charts/
  22. Okay.
  23. You're saying this: http://primaryweapons.com/accessories/buffertubes/#.VO0-ZCyzm2A works in the .308 ARs, without a short DPMS-based buffer?
  24. $34 for the 4227 today, at Bass Pro in Phx. Some of their powders have different prices. RL 15 is $35 per pounder, but the 3031 was $32. I've kinda given up on powder prices - if it's on the shelf and I use it (or can use it), I just pay what it says. Sucks that way, but I'm hoping powder will come back around. We'll probably have plentiful powder supplies again right after there's so much 22LR on the shelves that you couldn't truck it away... <dontknow>
