  1. I'll get some better pics, specifically of that handguard. I liked it when I shot it on beach's .308 G II - he has the Keymod version of it. It's very, very slim, at 1.5" OD, and every surface portion of it is extremely smooth. They rounded off all areas that could have been sharp edges. Very comfy to hold. <thumbsup>
  2. I've got some of the Fight Light 5.56 pouches - I like them.
  3. ^^^ Yep. I keep saying I'm going to get that, but haven't yet. http://www.brownells.com/aspx/Search/ProductDetail.aspx?pid=26484
  4. Will DEFINITELY happen. <thumbsup> Already on the way. KAK tube for it - picked up the whole package from them. <thumbsup> Gettin' painted, too. .30 Caliber Truck Gun!!! :hethan:
  5. ^^^ I don't think there's enough distance there, to lose 1.5" from that, and still get a gas block in there. Even a short gas block.
  6. Got most of the stuff in to assemble the 9" 300BLK pistol, so I tossed it together. Parts used: Ares Armor 9" 300BLK bare upper receiver set (assembled upper, barrel, standard barrel nut, gas block, gas tube). Midwest Industries 9" M-LOK handguard (MI SSM) BADASS Ambi Safety BAD ETP pin set BCM Gunfighter CH (large latch) The sights, BCG, muzzle device and pistol receiver extension are temporary, until those parts come in. Gets shot Tuesday morning.
  7. Plug it into this: http://www.ontargetshooting.com/ Flyers count, by the way. You've got one per group, and that's just how you're shooting.
  8. One long punch...
  9. That's good shooting, Ed. Well done. <thumbsup>
  10. That's 20 cents a round, brother, unless my math is off...
  11. That's why I switched over to this device - no more cutting primer pocket crimps out, just run them in the press. <thumbsup> http://shop.rcbs.com/Products/Case-Preparation/Accessories/Primer-Pocket-Swager-Combo-2.aspx
  12. i do not look forward to taking apart 16 lower receivers and changing out the bolt catches.... ...but i will. :))
  13. Alot of guys said the PUG 15 wouldn't cycle, either, and it ran like a champ. I'd bet this config would do the same - there's alot of gas pressure in the .308 Win rounds. http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2011/08/13/ar-15-hacksaw-pug-15/ http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_3_118/543391_Introducing_the_andamp_quot_PUGandamp_quot_.html
  14. You'd come close to running out of room to mount a gas block. It would be tight, probably won't go. Here's the Criterion/Fulton 18.5" rifle gas .308 barrel, for comparison - imagine another 4" gone from the front: I'll find the bare 16" and post it up. Small pic - I'll try to find another one, or we enlist the help of SS... :))

    Mission 22

Just got that email from BCM a few days ago. Good job posting that, brother. This kinda goes hand-in-hand with it, with the same push for awareness.
  16. I have no problem connecting. My connection is fast. In fact, I just "connected" to Rob, and he didn't even know it. :ove3: <thumbsup>
  17. I hope he gets the votes, and can kick the King's ass... This pompous motherfucker needs to go. He WAY overstayed his welcome, and he's no longer one of the people we need leading this country. By far. :wtf: :gtfo2:
  18. Shoot at 100, and figure out what your loads are doing. No need in going longer. What's bad at 100 will be worse at 300, provided you're doing your part.
  19. ^^^ You squashed your tube. Well, it's not the first time you've squashed your tube, though. <lmao>
  20. Hookers and Blow. I'm down with it. <thumbsup>
  21. That's kinda the way I'm looking at it.
  22. SS, for a personal vouch, I've been using Tactical Tailor gear since 1995.
  23. ^^^ Bottom line on triggers that you all ordered - he will have them all by the end of next week, and they will ship out almost instantaneously. They hit him, they turn around and ship to you. If you ordered, and you're wondering where your trigger is at, just be patient. You will get it days after he gets it...
