  1. Where did you get that rear sight? Sounds like the threading for windage adjustment is stripped, or the aperature is stripped. You turn, nothing happens. This isn't a MagPul PTS rear sight, by chance, is it? Hence, the reason I ask where you got it...
  2. ^^^ I knew that information was gonna come in handy. <thumbsup>
  3. The bottom of the ram is rounded, so there's less friction on it. The flat side always goes up. This is more pronounced on the large-primer ram, over the small-primer ram - watch the small-primer ram closely when you're putting things together to prime. <thumbsup>
  4. I'm pretty sure he's talking about the ambi bolt catch/bolt release - which makes sense. I see why it would have to come out, now. Bolt release/bolt catch on the right side of the receiver:
  5. Wow! Target foreground and background? That one didn't look like much of a consideration! Hate to say, I wasn't there, didn't see what they saw, didn't have their line of sight. But damn!
  6. Yep, been doing a bunch of that parts replacement. Clutch sensor, too. That's the 3rd recall.
  7. This is on the MagPul metal sight - the Pro?
  8. Does that DPMS upper work with the POF lower?
  9. I saw what you picked up, Ron - good deal. Even helped out a fellow forum member. Excellent stuff, my brother. <thumbsup>
  10. Uuummmm.... Are you saying you were using inferior equipment from the beginning?.... Inquiring minds want to know... <lmao>
  11. Sir, you are a gentleman and a scholar. I commend you on your honor alone, as so many just simply bitch once they find out about The Rule. You deserve accolades simply based on your moral merits. <thumbsup>
  12. Matt, I'm still not gonna give him the information I know for another 4~5 years. That's just the way I'm gonna work with this guy... <dontknow>
  13. ^^^ There it is. The answer. <thumbsup>
  14. Did I ever tell you that I wouldn't hesitate to beat a motherfucker to death with my DD rail?
  15. Deer are dangerous, and evil beasts. I feel no mercy towards them.
  16. Powered by the GM 2.4L EcoTech engine... The front half of this thing really is a car. Back half is belt-drive motorcycle with a single-sided swingarm...
  17. wetncold's rifle - not yours.
  18. Again, ignoring my suggestion... Totally blew me off... :stfu2:
  19. Daniel Defense. That's the proper rail for you. Even YOU can't break one - I double-dog dare ya to try. Did I ever tell you that I wouldn't hesitate to beat a motherfucker to death with my DD rail? Oh, yeah, I did tell you that. Didn't remember... <dontknow> Done. <thumbsup>
  20. Not really understanding why you had to remove something just to run a trigger. Do you have more information/explanation on what had to come out, and why?
  21. I'm in for a group buy - I'll try one out for sure. I've always got a rifle that it will fit, once I see how it runs. One of the fleet needs it - I just need to figure out which one... <thumbsup>
  22. OP, lots of reading to do, if you're not already familiar with the NJ Assault Weapons Ban, and it's current laws. Info below: http://www.state.nj.us/lps/dcj/agguide/assltf.htm http://www.state.nj.us/njsp/info/pdf/firearms/njac-title13-ch54.pdf http://smartgunlaws.org/assault-weapons-in-new-jersey/ Your most valuable resource, no schit, will be right here: http://www.ar15.com/forums/f_8/50_New_Jersey.html No kidding man - do your homework first. You're in one of those states where you can seemingly "built something innocent," only to find out that you've just committed a state felony... NJ is some scary schit...
  23. Just throwing this out there, before someone else does... :wwop:
  24. Get a couple different reloading books. It never hurts to cross-check. I'd suggest Hornady, Speer (which is Sierra/CCI), and a Lee manual. Hodgdon releases an update to their manual annually, in the form of a magazine - it's very well worth finding, too.
  25. That part in red already happens. Tires are individually serialized, and each one has a separate number. It's only stamped into one side of the tire, so many people don't ever see it or know it. It's not on both sides. The individualized by-person registration is straight over-reaching bullschit, though. Fuk that. As are alot of things, my brother. The .gov needs to get it's nose out of alot of schit that it has no business in... IMHO, of course...
