Hey guys, I don't know if this is the right place to post, but I need help.

I REALLY want to sell my slings on amazon, but the main picture has to be on a white background, and no matter how hard I try, I can't get it to look better than crap with a sheet.

So I have some pictures that I need to have a solid white background on.

Of course, I could do this online, but I would rather not for two reasons.

1- I like supporting the guys on this forum, and i am so thankful for all of the help that I have gotten on this forum and,

2-i really can't pay $8 per photo... I am fully willing to pay, but I would much rather do a trade for a custom sling, bracelet, etc

So is there anyone here who might be a photoshop ninja? I don't need a pro, but it HAS to be better than what I can do on paint.

If this thread needs to be moved, I place it in the hands of the mods, and apologize in advance.

Thanks guys!

What type of computer are you using?  Both PC/Windows and Apple have programs available to erase the background on your photo and make it all white.

For iMac it seems to be easier in Keynote.  Back on PC it was a fairly convoluted process.

Aside from editing an existing pic, what about using white poster board?

How's your lighting? That'd be my guess as to why the white sheet isn't working.

I've had to build makeshift photoboxes before where we took a cardboard box, cut a hole in the side (so the box became more of a frame), lined the interior with white printing paper, and placed a bright work lamp (like one of these) where the cutout was to illuminate the interior.

That's what I'm day's light that schit up like a schit house in fog!!! I use two, two bulb shop lights with 4' bulbs but I bet you could get a couple cheap clamp on lamps with some LED bulbs and light it up!!

Good ideas.

Generally speaking, my house has TERRIBLE lighting.

I'll consider the photo box route :-)

Although I am still very willing to trade someone for some editing work lol

Btw, I use my wife's crappy pc laptop, because mine is crappier...

I wish I had an app that would do it on my droid phone.

It should only take a few minutes to do it, especially if you have pictures of them on any solid color background. If you want to send me a couple pics, i'm happy to do it

You need to be careful with LED bulbs since they tend to have narrower spectrum light that may not be at the 6500K natural temperature level. You may end up with a tint instead of the white light you want.

BTW a color-calibrated monitor is crucial when doing photoshop work on your computer. Without one the color you see on your screen, might not be what color you're actually making it...

Pm me. We can figure something out. Send me something you want me to put up, I'll send em back when I'm done...unless I buy a couple. ;)

It was 80 and low humidity here yesterday it was perfect. The weather when I was down there was awesome!

Fark I never thought about that! Still couple 4' shop lights and some cool white tubes boom I know that works

I wasn't able to shoot pictures, because it rained all day...

I am ALMOST jealous of you guys' weather...

Here it is like 89 degrees... with as close to %100 humidity as it gets.

I remember when I did my times 12 mile ruck for air assault school, it was 0430, and it was 80 degrees with over 80 percent humidity. When I put my k pot on, the condensation immediately began dripping off of it because it was so humid...

I feel like I can't breath here... Like I am coated in Elmers Glue.... lol
