firemediceric@yahoo.com Posted May 17, 2016 Report Posted May 17, 2016 Just purchased a LAR-8 X-Series on which I'll be mounting an Atlas bipod and a Burris XTR II scope. That's the same set up I have on my 6.5 Creedmoor Ruger Precision Rifle. I've taken the RPR out to 1250 yards. I'm hoping to do well inside of 600 yards with the RRA. If anyone in the Brevard/Indian River area of Florida would like to get together, I'm always looking to learn from others. I'd appreciate any direction on what magazines may be compatible with this latest generation LAR-8. From what I read, the FAL inch mags may work.
EngrBob Posted May 17, 2016 Report Posted May 17, 2016 Howdy from the Texas side of the border. I used to keep a boat at the Marina on Merritt Island during one of our two stints as Florida residents.
