 Do you have or have had flood insurance ?  The Government run Flood Insurance only will cover about 25% , then if you want more coverage , you need to go to your Home Owners Insurance , for the rest & that IS Expensive . I choose sand bags , for the next time , if there is a next time :laffs:

You bet I do! My palatial mansion(s) needs the protection.:lmao:

I hope you never have to deal with flooding, but the flood insurance is a good deal.

Glad everyone is ok. When I got this house it was in a flood plane and I had to have Flood Insurance. In the fine print was a set cap not to exceed. That coverage was about 1/3 the actual value of the home. The Army corp. of Engineers addressed the problem by the house and we were able to drop the insurance.
