WiDeerHunter
Right now I've ordered the 2A upper and lower the 2A handguard 15in wish it was a 12in but it's super light at 10 oz geissele ssa-e trigger got everything because of Black Friday sales probably saved over 200 plus dollars now I just have to figure out what Barrel I'm going with I am thinking of either faxon or juggernaut Krieger are just too expensive I know you get what you pay for but I can't justify an $800 Barrel pretty sure I'm going to be going with the JP Enterprise BCG from what I can tell I'm going to be going over my $2,000 budget buy a couple hundred dollars but besides that BCG and Barrel everything else is small dollar amounts here and there what should I do if my buffer system does it pay to go with a lightweight BCG? WiDeerHunter
Yep it's two pounds two Oz but which Barrel is better faxon or Juggernaut the latter of the two from everything I've read is a very accurate Barrel especially for the price so far with my roughmath I have my gun coming in at between 6 1/2 and 6 and 3/4 pounds with scope mount 5 rounds in a 10 round mag that should easily put me under 9 lb which is my goal just not sure I'm which Barrel I should go with or if you guys have any other suggestions I'd like to keep it around that 2 pound Mark give or take a couple ounces

washguy
Get The 2A car buffer tube back plate and castlenut kit.....there are cheapo ones that msa or may not be in tolerance an ar 15 mil is what you use .https://2a-arms.com/products/buffer-tube-assembly-ar15. ...7 inches inside length but it you use an ar308 spring/buffer combo in it so this company also has an ar10 buffer tube assembly https://2a-arms.com/products/buffer-tube-assembly-ar10 this is where you make damn sure of what you get...cause different springs/buffers go inside different buffer tubes which will be the same as their ar15 buffer tube 7inches inside,,,UNLESS they are really using an ar10 tube which is a tad longer ...then you use a ar15 spring and buffer...BUT I doubt this is really an AR10 tube...I would email or call them....ill bet they are the same...Even mfg.s don't label or understand ar 308 vs.AR10 so you can get buffer tubes ar15 and 308 springs and buffers to go in it....this is where folks fubar their stuff to where it wont cycle...wrong spring wrong buffer or both.....yes 99 bills is high.....but the rest of your build is high ....don't cheap out ....lol Wash look at this shim kit for buffer tube https://2a-arms.com/products/buffer-tube-builders-shim-kit-ar10 98Z would chime in here with his 25 cent stack trick........this tells me get the ar15 kit .https://2a-arms.com/products/buffer-tube-assembly-ar15 Edited December 3, 2017 by washguy
