98Z5V
Just wondering. We casting this guy aside for his comments on weapons?... I'm alright with it - I don't listen to country. http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2017/11/10/tim-mcgraw-and-faith-hill-call-for-gun-control-following-las-vegas-massacre.html Tim McGraw and Faith Hill call for gun control following Las Vegas massacre Husband and wife power couple Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have called for gun control following last month’s massacre at a Las Vegas country music festival that took the lives of 58 people. In an interview with Billboard magazine, the country singers told the publication they are concerned for Americans' safety. “Look, I’m a bird hunter — I love to wing-shoot,” McGraw, 50, said. “However, there is some common sense that’s necessary when it comes to gun control. They want to make it about the Second Amendment every time it’s brought up. It’s not about the Second Amendment.” Hill, 50, revealed the couple had friends in attendance at the Route 91 Harvest Festival on Oct. 1 when Stephen Paddock opened fire from his hotel room at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, killing 58 people and wounding nearly 500 others. “In reference to the tragedy in Las Vegas, we knew a lot of people there,” Hill said. “The doctors that (treated) the wounded, they saw wounds like you’d see in war. That’s not right. Military weapons should not be in the hands of civilians. It’s everyone’s responsibility, including the government and the National Rifle Association, to tell the truth. We all want a safe country.” On Wednesday, the country music stars joined other singers on stage at the Country Music Association Awards to pay tribute to those killed in Las Vegas. Since the purpose of the second amendment is to protect the population from a government that has become tyrannical then it is only logical for the population to have access to the same level of weaponry as the government, at least in terms of firearms. I don't believe there should be ANY restrictions on firearm ownership; however, I do NOT believe in mainstreaming psychopaths, not enforcing laws because of prison overcrowding, letting "non-violent" drug traffickers out of jail for the hell of it, or in the "anything goes" permissiveness of a liberal society. Have a good moral compass and virtually anything is possible. Have a wayward moral compass and welcome to the limited access resort for eternity. Robocop1051
I wrote him off when he helped the beach-cowboy steal a police horse, and didn’t get pistol whipped into submission.... and Chesney shoulda been shot like the horse thief he is. 99% of country music is dead to me. Southern/Bakersfield Outlaw Country/Rock or nothing. Skynyrd, Hank Jr, Stevie Ray Vaughn, David Allen Coe, Willie, ZZ Top, 38 Special, Merle Haggard. The only modern artist I still listen to is Kidd Rock.
