😂🤣😃

Well, not sure if it was copper or brass but there were 2 decent size chunks smooshed inside the chamber. Let some solvent  soak & wire brushed it. Meh, didn't work. Then used a nylon brush & some Iosso paste & scrubbed the fuk out of it. THAT WORKED! Not sure if that was the issue,  but damn sure it wasn't good . Gonna get out Saturday & see.

@Lonewolf McQuade Nice picture of the chamber. It looks a little rough. If the problem recurs maybe polishing the chamber could be your fix? Just a thought.

Thanks.  I noticed the tooling marks, wasn't sure if it was that rough or just over pronounced from the magnified close up pic.

So hold off with the 80 grit paper and high speed drill? 🤣

You could give it a try. If it don't work out @Belt Fed might still be willing to take it off your hands.

Garrett from Armalite returned my call today. Gave him all the details I could. The brass chunks in the chamber obviously could cause problems, along with the carbon marks from possibly gas seeping by, lateral markings etc. I also told him the chamber looked a little rough. He suggested checking the feed ramp for burr, polish if I find any. Also to get a chamber hone to smooth out the chamber.

Try some Flitz on a chamber mop in a drill before you spend big bucks. Worked for me once and others have said the same. Some use a dremel on sharp edges around the feed ramp, I've gotten by with a set of swiss needle files.
