Look forward to hearing the stories and seeing the pictures as I can't be there.

As the camp is over run by road runners be sure to think of me.

I'll try to get a picture for you if that's the case.

Whew!  What a great shoot!  Lots of firsts.  We had some new people come join us and we added some new names to the Mile Club! And we have the smallest caliber making hits at a mile as well! As always, Kelly killed it with the food.  @98Z5V Was nice to see that Win Mag back in action and pounding steel at a mile.  Joy's new 300 Norma Mag made its debut fresh off the lathe.  Man, that thing is impressive!  We ran 100 rounds through it for fire forming and barrel break in.  I picked up the cheapest powder that was in stock at my local reloading shop that was listed in the book, used my old 220 ELD-X's and some God only knows how old CCI 250 primers, loaded it to book spec under max load and sent it.  That thing was hammering the mile all weekend!  The weather was warm and the mirage was heavier than we've seen in a while.  But I'd have to say a good time was had by all.

@Cunuckgaucho No Roadrunner sightings to report.

I'll have some updates in here tomorrow, with pics, of the sweet new 14.5" carbine.  GunPusher John sent me a text on Saturday, while we were out there, that the M4E1 PRO lowers finally showed up.  Week later than I needed, but that's okay  - that 14.5" carbine got built on a BA lower, and shot/dialed in anyway...   :bitchslap::laffs:

I'm just sayin'...   :thumbup::lmao:

You guys laugh now but if those evil mini raptors evolve and organize, y'all be wish I was there because as been proven countless times I am a the ultimate road runner repellent

I went 5 for 10 with my 22 DPC.  Basically a 22 ARC.  90 gr SMK going 2770 got it done.

Beautiful weather the whole weekend, largest Spring Shoot on record in terms of attendance, great new people all around, some new records set by some new Canadian marksman, a great weekend by anyone's measure!

... and...

Got on the mile in two with Tom's rifle, my personal best to date!

Had a great time and can't wait for the Fall Shoot.

Kenny and Shawn brought their grandson Gavin for the weekend.  And Shawn's Dad, Jim was there, too.

Joy hit the mile on her 3rd shot with her new 300 Norma Magnum.  Then backed it up with 2 for 4 when the shot marker fell off.

7.jpg

Drove out to fix it and noticed only one hit?

8.jpg

Upon closer inspection, she had 2 hits less than an inch from each other.  We'll take it!

5 for 10 with the 22 DPC.  Easy to tell the difference when compared to all the 30 cal impacts.

Kelly got on the mile with his 6.5 CM AR-10!  He's been trying for a couple years!  Success!

Dad taking his turn at the mile.  2 for 5.

I had to try the 1 MOA target at a mile.  Got it in 3.

Yes sir!  How many different rigs have you hit a mile with?  3? 4?

Easily 4...

1st. Your .300 Win. Mag

2nd. Tom's .300 Win. Mag

3rd. Eric's 6.5 PRC

4th. Paul's .50 BMG

5th. Mike's Savage .338 Lapua Mag

6th. My Tikka 6.5 Creedmoore

7th. Joy's .300 Norma Mag

There's probably something I'm failing to recall but those are the ones I distinctly remember.
