Traditions  Those old 30's and 40's hoods worked best, nice boat shape when upside down. We would hit the fields, all sorts of room and no cops to take our beer

Yup, we actually did it in the fields during the summer, usually on johnsongrass. The first time we did it we found out the hood can get hot really quick! A packing quilt or two solved that issue. It's a damn wonder I survived my high school years, in a small town you gotta find your own fun and sometimes it isn't exactly safe and sane!
