large Posted December 12, 2013 Report Posted December 12, 2013 I have wanted to build a AR style rifle for a while after looking at my options. I have bought a JD machine receiver set so far still making my list for everything else. I want a multi purpose weapon hunting, range, defense. I have learned a lot from this site thanks for being so detailed in your responses

I think the only thing i'd consider my 308 for defense use is if i'm camping and a bear attacks :) Cause I sure wouldn't want to shoot that thing in the house. beyond being deaf, it absolutely would pass through every wall including the concrete block
