Now that I have my lower at home and a trigger on the way I'm looking stocks. Ace arfx, rra a2 operator, and possibly magpul moe rifle stock. I only have a pic for the first two what are your thoughts?

Which is the lightest most veritile? The arfx looks to be pretty darn light.

Rifles intended use is range and some day maybe hunt ( most likely not but you never know)

I've got an ARFX on my DPMS 308. I love it! We have Magpuls, either MOE or CTS stocks on everything else. I like the CTS a little better than the MOE because of the buffer tube lock built into it,

Would you say the arfx is lighter and more comfterable?

It is lighter and more comfortable than the A2 stock it came with. On about the same level as the Magpuls.

Check out MAGS EFX A1, and VLTOR rifle modstock too. The EFX is A1 only. The VLTOR can go A1 or A2. Can also be mounted on a carbine buffer tube.

I looked at the RRA stock but it looks like it's A2 length only. I had a ARFX and I liked it on my 14.5 AR, but it was too light for my .308. Made it feel nose heavy. Lots of options out there. My modstock is pretty darn light.

Hmm.... I do have an almost new black ACS (standard AA battery tubes, not the ACS-L model)  lying around that needs a home. :)

If you're looking for a fixed stock instead, there's always the PRS.

ASC/L very nice & light.

I wouldn't call the ACS-L "light". I bought one for its heavier weight to balance out my MK216 better.

The CTR, MOE, SOPMOD Bravo, and IMOD are light.

So far I've owned the Magpul CTR, ASC, ASC-L, and PRS, the ACE ARFX and ARFX-E, the SOPMOD, the RRA A2 Operator, and everything Colt.

I can't choose just one over the others. Each has an advantage over the others. Some are lighter. Some have storage. Some are sturdier. It all depends on the mission I guess.

The ACS and ACS-L are exactly the same aside from the battery tubes. You can even swap the battery tubes of the ACS for the flat plates on the -L. I have both and was running them with 1 batt. Tube each. You can run the ACS naked with no tubes and it would weigh less than the -L version, but you would see the slots the plates hook into. There's really hardly any difference in weight between the two.
